You should check out his parses too. Absolutely terrible. He pops up from time to time though talking down to other arcane players as if he’s some sort of authority lol.

Yet bad mages are the ones complaining. Never in that statement did I claim to be a great mage or complain about rop. You made assumptions and are the one looking stupid

But that’s the thing, remember you said “Bad mages say this”, implying their statement is wrong because they are “bad”.
I’m here to tell you that not only do I also hate RoP, and as your superior I’m telling you that you’re bad, and by your metric your opinion is therefore incorrect.

Yes he is. In my experience simply ignoring the troll is the best way to beat them. Very 2nd boss ToS style. Of course poor Snoz here probably wont get that reference since he doesnt do mplus.

Without even reading his comment, I can only assume he is posting the same generic “rune is fine, you are bad” comment that every ‘big man’ does in these sorts of threads. It’s not useful and contributes nothing. For what it’s worth, pushing rune when DBM says you can is not “skill”. Unfun talent is bad and his reply doesn’t address any of the points I made in my earlier post, because there is no logical counter that I have seen anyone come up with in RoP posts for the last 8+ years.
Which is fine in theory, except that looking at the Frost tree alone you have multiple active talents/abilities like Water Elemental and Ebonbolt which are well below their passive counterparts. You also have Ray, CmS and GS which are dps losses over most other options. You also have passives that are hugely powerful like TV, IP, Slick Ice, Freezing Rain, CR, Hailstones etc. In fact with the exception of mandatory talents that were once baseline abilities like IV, Flurry and FOrb I can’t think of any active talent in the Frost tree that isn’t comparatively terrible.
Absolutely. Without a full rework of the 3 specs, straight removal of RoP messes up the damage profiles of the specs. That said, we aren’t getting that any time soon so why not hope for a “better than option A” solution where baseline is increased by half of RoPs power budget and the other half is baked into existing short-cd talents like Totm, FOrb or whatever Fire has.

What if RoP buffed all allies spellcasts in it and the bonus was lowered?
Flow could be a personal clicky that stacks by quick casting spells and then payoffs a large final bonus, or even the same thing it is now with higher bonuses.
Do you want to help address the issue or make it more miserable? Stacking everybody under the Mage as well as stacking Mages for it would be beyond terrible.
