I mean there are plenty of games that just press 1,2,3 in pvp. Most of the popular ones and the storm event pvp thing blizzard brought twice now had limited abilities.
The amount of buttons are not the issue nor is complexity. Accessibility is key these days and what gets people playing now is things that are easier to get into.
Face it, many people today are not good with complexity. I seen a newspaper today where they spelled persists as “persits” on the front page.
We are in Idiocracy bro and most people can’t get out of a paper bag so the only way forward is to make all classes for babies and the hardcore players go with it or get bored and leave.
