The reddit mods didn’t include an option for RPPvP servers in the latest survey, even though the last survey had it.
In the first survey, three times more people chose RPPvP over RPPvE servers.
However, this time the reddit mods saw it fit to not even include RPPvP in the options (working behind the scenes with Blizzard?) thus obscuring the real interest in RPPvP.
We are shafted, folks. I will see the silver lining.
No RPPvP = no Classic WoW for me and my friend group. I can focus more on my othre hobbies.
Was hoping Ion makes the right move but it seems there is no hope. Maybe the pushback from Activision Blizzard is too much.

While I understand your frustration in the survey, their answer has yet to be delivered.
We still have a hearty thread with increasing visitors and supporters by the day. I say do not give up hope yet, even so, many of us in support of RPPVP will make our home if we have to.

Threads like this one do make a difference. I’m pretty sure the original launch of RP-PVP servers was partially in response to player demand for it. Keep spreading the word.

I was digging around, looking for a classic guild to roll with come launch and thought it would be fun to give RP a try. I was shocked to find this thread come up and it was pretty disheartening to say the least. I hope you fine folks at Blizzard take note and give RP a chance, just like some of us newcomers!

RP-PVP servers are unique and always entertaining. You never know if the foe in front of you will RP with you, fight you or both. You have some of the most loyal folks around you to fight with and even against. We have amazing get togethers with friends and foes. Emerald Dream will always live on as if they were an RP-PVP. You can label it as RP, but those who have been on Emerald Dream for years won’t change how they see the server.

I hope you role on the RP-PVP server if we get one, and see how we interact with each other. There is nothing like being around RP and always watching your back at the same time. RP-PVP servers whether your roll horde or alliance the folks on there can become family real quick. Nothing better in WoW than being around friends and family - that is what make RP-PVP servers amazing.

Day 52 & 53
Another day missed. I am sorry for my absence. I was driven to madness by the silence.
News today but not the news we were hoping for. Hopefully we will have the news we need within weeks. It is good to see the plan coming along just hate that we need to have a plan.
RP PvP is what we need, RP PvP is how we bleed. Blizzard do the right thing and give us our lifeblood.

What’s really annoying is that there won’t be much time between issuing the server list (assuming this happens after the stress test) and name reserves. If they don’t come out with an RP-PvP server, it will be a mad scramble for the community to designate a PvP server as our RP-PvP home.
This is turning into a fiasco.

Relax, breathe, take it easy. We will be in game soon enough, probably on an RPPVP server, but if not then it will all still work out.
