OCE players don’t get a RP-PvP realm. If we went with EST or central then at 6PM server time it’d be 8/9AM for those players. With it set to pacific, it’s 11 AM.
While these hours may work poorly for day workers, joining a raiding guild that raids on weekends would support OCE players by being mid day instead or early morning.

There’s no issue in latency with this. Add this: /run print("Current Latency: "…select(4,GetNetStats())…“ms.”) to a macro and check out your ms. I got 64 MS on Wyrmrest Accord which is a PST server, I am EST. I don’t see the issue other than a time difference.
As for time difference? It is is the only RP-PVP server so you’re bound to have EST players on the server with you.

As I said. Put this command into a macro: /run print("Current Latency: "…select(4,GetNetStats())…“ms.”) < — Then go check your latency on one of the existing PST realms such as Wyrmrest accord. I got 64 ms and I live in NJ. That is more than fine in terms of speed.

Oh my god, stop crying do you have any idea how hard we had to fight to get RP-PVP servers in the first place? Just be grateful for them INFACT Just be grateful for the fact we are getting classic in the first place, stop making big deal out of something that is none issues.
One might be designated as such by the community eventually. Time will tell.

The ping from coast to coast is not substantial especially with batching the way it is. Also there is only one so any east coast RPPvPers will be right there with you when you’re on. And with it being on the west coast, the oceanic peoples can better join.

They should make one east coast and one west coast, or have the community vote on it.
Playing on a west coast server as an east coast player will be frustrating, servers will be emptier until later in the night, raids will be harder to fill, etc. Lag will be increased.

I just checked my ping. 59ms to Blaumeux from the East Coast (well, Atlanta). It is not a big deal at all.
In Current WoW I get around 30-40ms on East Coast servers and 80-90 on west ones.
In the stress test (which I assume is a western server) I have 87 right now.

Back in vanilla it mattered 100 times more, but believe it or not, the infrastructure of the internet has improved over all this time, and most games that feel bad to play these days come from bad netcode or tickrates, not people on small pipes.
