Purity of Essence
A worgen look at worgen lore
A poster hangs on the wall, where posters usually aren’t. An out-of-the-way corner, either purposefully placed where it would be seldom seen, or simply the one that missed being taken down by the guards. It speaks of worgen, of the “Purity”, and of the government’s lies. Of truths hidden, a people misled, and authorities in need of toppling. It includes a date, time, and location, as well as the initials RM.
“Purity of Essence” is a sermon or sermon-type RP event, in which characters may gather for a controversial presentation on worgen lore. The event occurs twice a month, each lasting one hour and covering different chapters from worgen lore, from their origins to their struggles today, and various topics like rage, hunting, and pack dynamics.

Event Overview
This is an Alliance event on Moon Guard, hosted twice a month (on Thursdays) in various locations. Everyone is welcome to attend, and may dm Raedölf for a cross-server invite. The presentation itself will be one hour long, with questions afterward.
Lore
The event’s name is taken straight from the lore as well, named after Purity of Essence, a book written by the first worgen - Alpha Prime - during his time in Gilneas. The book is written from a pro-worgen perspective. Each event will be done likewise, as fanatical propaganda, and will be citing the lore all throughout. Location
Purity of Essence is a twice a month occurance, every Second and Fourth Thursday of the month. To avoid the guards, we will be changing up locations each time, to a different out-of-the-way hiding spot in Stormwind. Be it the catacombs, Keep an eye out for us here, on Discord, and ingame for the next location and topic.

Curse of the Worgen is a five-part Blizzard comic produced by DC Comics, written by WoW story developers Micky Neilson and James Waugh. The comic revisits the story of the worgen starter zone, with several flashbacks to the creation of the worgen race, nine thousand three hundred years ago. It explains the dark truth behind the fall of Gilneas, and reveals the dark intent behind the worgen attack. This is available for $12.98 hardcover from Amazon. Genn Greymane: Lord of his Pack
This short story, written by James Waugh, occurs just after the starter zone and includes the fleeing Gilneans on their voyage to Teldrassil. The short story follows Genn Greymane, including several flashbacks in Gilnean history, as well as a tragedy at sea that nearly robbed the king of his wife and daughter as well.
