[RP-Event] Lightfall Memorial Vigil: Event Summary and Grattitude

Saturday August 30th
5PM-7PM WRA-Server
Isle of Dorn

Lightfall Memorial Vigil:

Anniversary of the Fall of Dalaran

One year has passed since the skies above Dalaran were torn apart. The spires crumbled, the wards shattered, and the city once called the heart of magic was brought to ruin.

To honor the lives lost, the legacies left behind, and the strength of those who carry Dalaran’s light forward, all are invited to gather for a solemn vigil. This is a time of remembrance, reflection, and renewal. Whether you were born within the city’s walls or simply felt its influence in your studies, your service, or your soul, you are welcome.

Join us beneath the stars as mages, citizens, and allies alike offer stories, light candles of memory, and weave a spell of unity to mark the city’s enduring legacy. Though Dalaran has fallen, its light lives on in each of us.

Little promo bump!

We’re looking for guilds (and speakers) to represent both the Horde and Alliance armies that might like to speak during this event! Comment below or find me on discord (Axiann).

Would pro-faction-war, anti-armistice RP guilds be welcome at this event if we promise not to disrupt it beyond the occasional /frown and /disagree when someone makes a speech about the horde and alliance needing to put aside our differences and unite?

I’d say, so long as they have a reason to show up and pay their respects for the fallen city and its dead, then yes!

That is very fair, thank you for the reply! 100% this event should be focused on mourning and honoring the fallen people of Dalaran.

It really doesn’t have anything to do with the faction war at all, but I find it is better to ask permission before showing up to a cross-faction event. Thanks!
