How does deeper strat help here? I’ve heard from another rogue that it’s better but I don’t understand why since it seems like another MFD evis in the flag window would be more valuable than an extra 1 sec on stuns.

maybe the combo points from premed make that unnecessary? i queued into a boost 3s team playing hpal/rogue/x using aura mastery ashen hallow to force trinkets and then doing the same thing, they were deeper strat as well. maybe flag benefits from the extra 1 point’s worth of evis damage?
Yeah it does benefit from the extra 1 evis cp, but that’s still 1 more cp vs 5. Even with the extra cp from the premed shadowstrike you’d still be able to get another MFD evis after.
I’ll have to play around with it more, I haven’t really experimented with flag or palumor builds as much as I probably should.
the issue here honestly wasn’t the damage, he killed you in the same amount of time, maybe took a little longer than a ret or any class popping everything…
the issue is duel, just get rid of it and give rogues a defensive honor talent.
also we need dagger in the dark changed or removed.
rogues have enough pressure with bomb and stuns.

This is a conduit issue, not a class issue. conduits, legendaries and the million passives all classes have which are embedded into this expansion make pvp bad
Rogues have no damage outside of shadow dance and even then if they don’t have shadowblades (3 minute cd) its easily negatable as long as someone doesn’t randomly faceroll their trinket just because they get kidney’d
not sure why you decided to fluff your crying paragraph with so many words other than trying to hide your true complaint of “i just want to faceroll zerg rogues with no counterplay im big bad demon hunt man!!!” that would’ve been less to type and more respectable
Palumor builds are cheese builds that are entirely dependent on gimping yourself for a single burst and literally having no buttons after attempting it and is exclusive for 2s which have been a joke bracket for ever but that is absolutely not why you’re being outplayed by a rogue, so you can stop being so hyperbolic and get over yourself
You really want to waste an honor talent slot giving you an ability that is truly only good vs one class in the game instead of just wanting things like that baseline

ya i wanna watch that jellybeans youtube video, when some sweaty vanilla player logs on live and takes 80% of his hp in bm damage while he plods over to where the trap dropped manually and clicks on it to disarm so that he can shadowstep freely and get disengaged cuz it’s off cd again by that time
