Actually that looks to be Battlenet maintenance . Most likely launcher and or log in authenticators which do affect other games besides WoW
The notification at the top right of the launcher is generally Battlenet based and the big notice ofer the various adds on the launcher are WoW based

I had an alert in WoW for WoW maintenance tomorrow at 7am before they did the Rolling Restart notice, that wa son top of the bnet notice about the bnet maintenance.

the big deal is it was a challenge u could do at time of expansion, and it was actually difficult to complete and very rewarding for completing it. should not be handed out for free.

And no, they havenāt eliminated druids from the game entirely to make you happy that your nondescript mage tower appearance you never use is even more exclusive now.
Rolling restarts 10-15 min is normal, though the past few patches have been anything but normal.
I still have my purple sparkle kitty form.
I doubt they fixed the bug that drastically nerfed flight form steady speed.
To be fair, I think they fixed the crafting gear bug during the last maintenance. Maybe. Need confirmation from people who actually looked at their stats before and after.
never use? lol the appearance for the druid i use every time because its rare. uts also a good laugh when the druid main in your raid group doesnāt have it and you show it off"/flex" for doing the challenge when it was out at the time. it completely defeats the purpose of giving players something exclusive for doing something that was difficult to do at the time.
To be fair, it was only challenging if you didnāt abuse bugs, like the food buff, or had bad RNG and did not have the correct legendary. They removed them before they let players choose legendary pieces, if they had waited until after that to remove them, or added the option to pick them a little sooner, then there would have been a LOT more of the werebears running around.
Then why do the majority of the players not have a single one?
Maybe they were focused on other content and didnāt think itād go away permanently? Maybe they took a break and didnāt play during legion or its later patches? Maybe they started after legion? It was nearly a decade ago now and reasons vary.
Yeah, pretty sure it actually reduced the quality in many of the servers. Seeing much more latency issues now than I did before the restarts.
