The issue is you should not be able to roll.
“I can take it, so I can, it’s mine, even though I don’t need it” - is a massive Karen attitude of entitlement.
Everything you’ve posted under this is disgusting. It’s a communal game, and you’re quite literally stealing gear you don’t need from random pugs with some edgelord mentality about it.
God Forbid anyone want an item that you have absolutely zero intention of using, usage, or need of - while you ham-fistedly slam the dice button while slurping your fresh-cracked cold-boy Code Red mouth-breathing away on discord with your “friends” who support this attitude.
Nobody asked, and even fewer care.
Guess what? This is why personal loot is inevitably returning, because skeezy people steal items and hold upgrades hostage with a disgusting mentality.

Sure, being nice and a decent human is allowed too, it’s just not the norm anymore. Odds are, if you are nice to someone and give him something free, he wouldn’t do the same for you. I choose to be nice anyway.

Let’s re-phrase this:
“I pug the raids 7 additional times every week, to take gear away from other players. And then I come on the forums to complain I couldn’t take MORE gear away from other players.”
Being a decent human is also passing if you’re on your alt.

100% made up. Personal loot existed in raids to combat this very attitude. The community “insisted” they could behave, and not do this very thing. It has proven it’s inability to, and as such we’ll inevitably end up with personal loot in raids again.
Personal loot in raids was “part of the game” for years to combat this. It’s not an ideology; current loot method is a social experiment to see if the player base is capable of self-regulating instead of prioritizing personal greed over the community. It clearly is failing.

There is no issue, you having a singular opinion does not make it an issue. The game is hard coded to determine eligibility, and that is up to blizzard, not loot karens such as yourself.
The loot was eligible to roll need. The only Karen attitude is players like yourself who inspects another player to “determine” if they need it, then harass them for it or complain on forums about it.

Glad you have an opinion. Unfortunately your opinion does not matter because it’s not how the loot system works. There is no “you’re disgusting” checks for eligibility. You can’t steal loot. You also cant hold someone hostage because there is no master looter.

Why should they not want it on every character they actually play?
This notion of main/alt is so out dated its insane really. I have TEN “mains”, i play each one regularly.
I have not raided since WoD, but would consider it again, if and when PL makes its way back into the game.
As for you all buggin on the OP, the other person did not have another buyer, you can bet on that, they took that trinket and vendored it. That is just plain “disgusting” as some have put it. Thats not the way i have played this game for almost 20 years, and i will continue to be a decent person in game even though it is burning down all around me.
I dont even recognize this current retail game anymore, and it started going downhill with the introduction of M+!
