Mawthorne chose to create these topics about SV as a result of a discussion that was happening in the Hunter forum, mostly between myself and him. Essentially, we were talking about the reasons as to why SV isn’t popular, even when it does perform well. You mentioned one of the primary reasons in your reply, how most Hunters for example do not want to play as melee, while playing as Hunters.
Mawthorne was interested to know why it doesn’t appeal much to players of other classes, players who do in fact like to play melee. He wasn’t looking at specific reasons, but simply wanted to know any and all reasons.
Ofc you can do the same for specs like Feral. He didn’t because this wasn’t about comparing them. Again, he just wants to know why a fantasy that, according to him, is popular in other games, why that isn’t the case in WoW(with Survival).
