that is no big loss tbh, the forum is making a huge deal out of this when most players dont care that much about chests in game

Theres 2 rogues that have cap lockpicking and sell it in trade then say they havent leveled it in dungeons and try to wait till everyone is out of the dungeon and pick them; i tend to ask everyone if they can run again (As a tank thats all i can do) and when those people are in group once they get out and thing “Ok everyones out? i can go in and grab them” i hit reset dungeon. noty; if you actually didnt level it w.e thats fine; it sucks but thats fine. But lying to try and ninja and being dumb enough to sell your services in trade chat after is foolish (Keep in mind this is 2 out of hundreds of people who ive noticed do this but its worth mentioning on the point of “I didnt level LP”)

It’s true that chests aren’t a big deal. But lying about your LP so you can steal it is a big deal. If you’d do that, you’d likely ninja loot if you had the chance. You’d justify it in a similar way as well.
Can’t trust a liar. That seems self- evident.

I open locked boxes for free and always open locked chests in dungeons for the group.

You find out if they are lying by watching their behavior at the end of the dungeon.

and what if you do catch them then? one or two people might care, you wont successfully blacklist someone over this
the forums are making a much bigger deal over these chests than anyone i have ever seen in the game

Who does this? I don’t have a problem unlocking and rolling for chests. I guess I can see their point but it’s like the point of a whiney 12 year old that is screaming wah wah look at me and muh skill.
So you know, if you want to be cool just be a cool rogue and unlock chests for people, or be a dick and not get grouped with.

I have no problem with rogues not opening locked chests.
Just like I have no problem immediately putting them on my ignore list to never run any content with them ever again.
Rogues who act like this will quickly realize the impact their selfishness will have on them.
