Rogues get Barbarian Shadowstep in TWW?

The jebaited responses in here from people thinking this is going live are hilarious.

News flash boys, blizzard always does the same thing. They sell on the fun things in alpha/beta, and remove nearly all of it a few weeks into live when people can’t ask for refunds back.

Well, to be fair…

I think it is needed to deal with all the stupid aoe spreads that constantly uncover rogues. Fix that and rogues might be useful in large scale combat and wouldn’t need a million gap closers.

DKs essentially get a 10 second freedom/100% movement speed that replaces deaths advance, and Warriors charge will remove all movement impairing effects and give them 70% speed boost for a few seconds . So. No that will never come back lol. And people complaining about an extra Step here :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Most specs are getting enhanced mobility, including non-melee like Dragon.

The difference with Rogues is they have too much instant CC. People aren’t afraid of Rogues Shadowstepping to do sustained damage (like a Warrior), they’re afraid of Rogues having more ability to cross-CC an entire team at will

Yea, in arena I can see it being a problem.

But I think this change was for Blitz Brawl where players are a bit more spread out and the extra gap closers for rogues will be needed. This way a rogue can attack enemies from stealth and not have to worry about wasting one of their shadowsteps to fly to a friendly target to escape. They can attack from stealth, fly to an ally to hopefully receive a heal or two and then fly back to an enemy to attack.

Because right now you attack form stealth and have to blow all your two minute cooldowns to hopefully take someone out in group combat. You blow all your big 2 minute global cooldowns during the attempt. And then you fart around for 2 minutes until those cooldowns are available again.

Also, the see through stealth orbs in Blitz Brawl make these extra gap closers mandatory because people will see you from so far away. Your attacks from stealth will be negated often. You’ll be forced into using shadowdance to get those stealth bonuses.

Damn rogues have to make good use of their tool kit to cross cc multiple people out of a teamfight thats crazy. I think they should keep it that way.

Essentially limitless step kicks, don’t see this being an issue at all
