a lot of ppl said that resetting their CVARs fixed this for them. shouldnt have to do that. blizz should figure it out on their end.

I noticed that entering a quest location, Heltor Shelltor in the plains for this instance, will knock my druid out of stealth every time and will have to restealth once im in the quest area.
This ānewā bug has been on-going for over a week now. Blizzard know, they do not care.
I will point out that I even managed to get a GM to admit that this is a āknown issueā but would not comment further to if it was ever going to be addressed.
Not even an hour laterā¦ I come across this little gemā¦
Iām not even trying at this point, Iām just trying to play my game ffsā¦

Yeah for stealthies, wpvp shouldnāt even be thought about because of how often stealth breaks and you go into combat when literally nothing hit you. Itās bad in bags too but wpvp itās not even worth it unless you donāt move from your allies in the slightest so they can cover you when it breaks over and over.
This stealth bug is like this since Cata if I remember correctly, suddenly youāre walking and you notice ppl are targeting you and you wonder what tf is going on.
This bug hasnāt been solved for more than a decade now, and I wouldnāt expect them to fix it now, they donāt give a sheet about it, plenty of bugs out there, and itāll only get worce with time.
I just want to say that this is not a Rogue stealth only issue, it also happens on my Feral Druid with the same frequency.

So i thought you were all nuts.
But the last couple of weeks iāve been doing wpvp, and its just plain silly how often you get popped out of stealth in wpvp.
Not a single player in range, just stealthed on a rock watching the festivities, and i get popped out of stealth.
Doesnt happen to me in BGs, jut wpvp.
The last expac i did wpvp in was BfA, i dont recall this happening in BfA.
this sucks.
It will and likely has. You just need to pay attention. You can he stealthy watching the fight over 200 yards away and youāll randomly come out of stealth. Infuriating

Thereās several places that it decides āyou cannot stealth hereā sometimes itās during hunts, always during elemental storms, when it rains, entering quest zones sometimes.
At the rate their going, their going to take Bethesdaās Motto of āItās not a bug, itās a feature.ā away from them and give it to rogues as a medal.
I was watching the AWC and some streamer videos the other day, now I canāt be certain it was in the AWC but I remember seeing a rogue de stealth near a Druid on Tigers Peak.
The Druid recognised it was a bug de stealth and allowed him to re stealth. Itās quite possible Iām miss remembering but I believe their was commentary on it happening for a split second as well.

SS vs TM; Sneaking my way to horde base, iām on the edge of the map, no one in sight. stealth dropped 3 times in a row.
so yeah, it probably has happened before, but this was the 1st time i noticed it in a BG.

I saw they fixed stealth dropping in a recent MMO-Champion post but it had to do with some item i think and i dont believe it was a fix for what weāre mostly experiencing. So far i havent really noticed it happening in arenas but that might be because i usually only stealth a very short time unless i need to hide somewhere for a bit.

Druid Natureās Vigil brings us out even if youāre not in combat (found that in wsg)
Ghosts crap from shadow priest follows you around (been a thing forever) after stealth / vanish and breaks you out
Some nonsense from paladin with holy shocks (no debuffs on you like glimmer) just knocks you out if youāre within 30 ish yards
Warlock demons and hunter pets appear to have increased stealth detection and chase you after vanishing now too (they dont lose sight of you)
Affliction warlock can knock you out with malific rapture (tested this many times on people I was tailing down in silvershard mines)
Also found a lot of magic will not be removed on Cloak such as Dk diseases and warlock dots and often gets reapplied while cloak is up
Figured Id pass along this weeks notes to fellow brothers and sisters of the blade

This happens on my feral in the wpvp areas constantly. No other place do I really notice it. I can stand off by myself not moving, and have it happen 5 times while out there. Some days it doesnāt happen at all. Definitely a bug of some sort best I can tellā¦
