Rogue RP Question

Was considering that, though currently the concept of the character is best summed up with them having been an AU Bleedinghollow Orc who was initially all for the war to represent his clan in the Iron Horde but ended up having a major mental crisis when Kilrogg accepted the Fel (with him being among the many to not support that) and defecting to the horde.

Was that in reference to this?

If so, it’s not a typo. It’s a British slang term. Spivs are a specific type of black-marketeer. The neighborhood guy who can get you things that are rationed or unavailable. Sometimes completely illegally, sometimes through under the table bartering. Also, the guy with 50 crates of canned chicken who trades information for food. That sort of thing. They would fit into the “lovable rogue” character trope - somebody local you don’t quite trust but whom you can depend on to get you what you need - for a price or a favor.

Given the current state of Azeroth spivs are in a growth market.

Oh, I thought that was a typo of spies :stuck_out_tongue: Sorry about that.

In other news, I learned a new word today!

You’re describing a specific type of rogue. Brigands are certainly not smooth talkers and all that. Assassins, cat burglars, etc. Not all rogues are swindlers. And the best pick pockets are never noticed by their marks at all, as friends or otherwise.
