Oh. My bad. I was like… 0.0 My reading comprehension is apparently terrible. My apologies.
The issue with not being able to sap is you can’t make, sap → cap flag, plays on them. They are also extremely tanky so even if you can kill them over a very long duration with resets ppl are gonna show up to help in that time. The point of this is that rogues struggle to backcap against a lot of builds. If I see a tank shaman in ghost wolf siting a flag it’s basically a waste of time to even try against them unless there are like 3 rogues. Same story with other tank classes.
Funny part is… boomies can also go stealth but they actually have the damage output to kill tank classes in an acceptable amount of time so boomies are, imo, just a better choice than rogues atm for backcapping. The only reason to take a rogue is because finding that many boomies would take forever.
As an example as alliance if you have 2 rogues in your premade, assigning them to go GM → farm is normal, if they run into a tank class with gear odds are low that they can 2v1 the guy fast enough to actually get the backcap (if they can do the 2v1 at all). However 2 boomies who stealth to farm or 1 rogue 1 boomie can absolutely get the kill and the cap.
If you run into non-tank classes 2 rogues is fine but the possibility of running into tanks just means rogues are the inferior choice.
Ah, so you’re basically wanting to stall the enemy team’s FC from being able to pick up? Makes sense. At some point in my WoW PvP endeavors, WSG went from being my favorite to bg, to one I don’t want to ever touch. Not really sure why that happened either.
I think a rogue boomie combo would be solid. Rogue locks em down, boomie obliterates them more thoroughly than a nuclear bomb. That or locks up their healer that’s with em. Still a solid combo.
Tanks are pretty ridic, definitely not arguing that point.
Fair.
