Twinks are actually now even better for TW than they were pre-change. All the people begging for changes just ended up incentivizing twinks even more lol.
the difficulty change is there, the one i got earlier had a lot of people dying in the dungeon, it does enough to make the mechanics matter. i’m not even sure what changed, what specific things changed with timewalking that OP didn’t even mention?
hardest timewalking I’ve encountered thus far, a few moments ago.
It had nothing to do with scaling. it had everything to do with people not knowing that you need to kill the totems at the same time. Every other boss died in about 30 seconds.
Curious what level/class you saw that seemed stronger than before.
I only tried level 10 priest and it was strong but I think it was noticeably weaker than it was before the changes. Before the changes nobody of any level or ilvl would have really challenged me other than another low level twink. Now highly geared 80s can beat me on single target and sometimes AoE with cooldowns.
I had an 11 fury warrior tank in one run and it seemed like he took more damage than a twink normally would, but my priest could shield him for more than his max health so it didn’t really matter.
Finished my five TW dungeons in less that an hour. Wait times were the same as usual and completed each one in about ten minutes. This thread was a huge nothing burger.
Next… next what? Nobody was claiming the dungeons were going to be hard for your level 80 ilevel whatever. Did you even read the thread or did you jump in feet first because you were bored?
What some people were worried about was Blizzard making things harder for people leveling alts, which would make less people want to queue for TW. Atm, that’s not going to be a problem because an event is going on for the pirate dragon.
Yeah, I just went through a 25 minute slog fest on my 681 prot warrior. I was able to clear the dungeon solo and it basically never moved my health bar but it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow.
A lvl 11 enchanted fury war should still have little to no problems soloing still. It might take them .5 seconds longer per trash group if anything lol.
I;ve been participating in this thread for quite some time. I know exactly why it was created.
No one that was running alts were having problems either. Players that tried to run through them solo like idiots died, but I’m fine with that because dungeons were never meant to be soloed. Tanks still can agro large mobs and survive
As far as I’m concerned, TW dungeons are perfect now. Not as hard as when live, but still requiring a group to complete. Plus I dont know where you are getting this BS that its too soon because of other content. TW wait time was real fast as it always is which means there are lots of players doing them.
