R.I.P timewalking

You had a good run, but alas fun was detected thus nerfs were injected.

Joking aside best of luck to whoever plans on playing the mode after the announced changes. I already had very little reason to care, but I’ll hard pass on being forced to spend 20+ mins in content I’ve already done hundreds if not thousands of times.

It always astounds me how people don’t seem to understand Timewalking and feel the need to complain about it.

Here was the original post when Timewalking was announced:

Timewalker mode would allow players to experience older dungeons and raids at a challenging level.

And that was because people specifically asked to relive those challenges. We never quite got it. And then they dumbed it down even more.

I think y’all will survive with Heroic dungeons being Heroic dungeons.

As if TW wasn’t already a clown show, last time it came around with Legion dungeons, it somehow got even worse. There were all kinds of people running around pulling mobs and going out of their way to be stupid. It needed some kind of buff. I’m not going to complain about buffs unless it’s somehow Mythic difficulty all of a sudden, which I doubt.

If you want a challenge why not do high keys? Timewalking being a chill mode to level alts in is what made it so popular to begin with.

Though as I highly disagree with you I’ll just say enjoy the mode and the small pool that will play post changes.

I’ll still be playing Timewalking when it is up on the calendar. Mostly do it still so I can purchase the various rewards off of each of the Timewalking vendors. Saw some cool mounts being added in the future. So I def plan on obtaining those.

Also like collecting the other rewards such as the pets, toys, and various transmog sets. So I’ll still be doing Timewalking until I got everything collected once again! :smiley:

Well until Rusher, Skipers and Let not forget Twink Rush skipper ruin it all and Destory what was relaxing memory lain to “Get my Crap and be done, screw any one who need gear”

Rush run… I glad this is happning I want to feel pain and kill twink on sight, wake up healer to do there job, Have tank Feel pain and most of all… Time to Do how fight should been don, with no rusher, No skiper and We all suffer toghter forever~

And the original conversations were people wanting to relive the old challenges. Like Magisters Terrace.

Timewalking became a thing before M+. And M+ is very different.

Timewalking was supposed to be nostalgic fun challenge. It ended up just being nostalgic fun barely a challenge. Then turned into “I just want to whine that gear isn’t automatically mailed me” zero effort.

It’s not chill. And it was never for alts to level originally.

Again, you’ll survive and you can still level alts.

LOL keep doomsaying. They aren’t turning it into Mythic mode. You’ll live.

When you can be tank Owo and feel pain and bring other to feel it~

Heroic dungeons are heroic dungeons, which is easy content to just rush through without thinking much.
Challenge is to be found elsewhere.

I do them for power leveling friends that’s it. Making it take longer doesn’t make it more fun

Meanwhile Twink with Fury warrior running around one shot every thing as I Try to cash up and every one leave skip few trash and bosses just get the weekly done is “better”

ya’ll are just being hyperbolic and whiny like ya’ll always do anytime literally anything changes in this game in even the slightest most miniscule manner.

Ya’ll in here acting like a pack of mobs living for 5 more GCDs than usual in a Heroic dungeon is the absolute end of the world.

The only place in WoW where rushing as fast as possible is appropriate is M+. In any other case chill, there is no timer.

These changes are coming from player feedback.

Players (repeatedly and loudly) insisted that they did not like the current state with level 11 twinks or very geared level 80s coming in and just killing everything before anyone else could cast spells.

This is the fix for that. Mobs now live longer, so you’ll be able to cast spells at them before they die now. They do a bit more damage, so that people trying to tank as fury or mistweaver will have a harder time.

What Heroic dungeon level? TBC Classic and WotLK Classic and now Cata Classic proved without a doubt there’s no challenge to be had there if the players happen to have all their limbs and no major brain damage.

I think that regardless of what the original intention was for TW dungeons, they ended up being just a fun thing people could smash through on their mains or alts for different reasons (xp, mounts, currency or w/e), the last time the difficulty was cranked up is when my friends and i stopped bothering with them, i’d imagine the same thing will happen now, participation will drop but a few people will be happy with it for one reason or another lol
