These systems coexisted with the raiding community for years. The people who want to raid will keep raiding, it changes nothing. Now you can raid because you want to, and if you’re okay with acquiring not the highest ilvl gear through vendors, you can do that too.
So tired of the worthless this or that arguments constantly being made on the forums. No wonder the developers don’t read this garbage heap.
Fingers crossed for tier sets to make their glorious comeback in 9.1. Cmon baby, papa wants a new set of tier bonuses.
Something is going to change with raiding next tier anyway, this one is over for the most part.
I encourage you to obtain said easy loot from PVP without paying for a booster, oh courageous one.
It’s not easy, that’s why people are making millions boosting others for it.

That’s right, MAU walker.
Blizzard, circa 2008: “take a break now and then! don’t play all the time!”
Blizzard, circa 2021: “our shareholders want you playing all day, every day. Oh, an buy tokens, thx”

It’s a giant social experiment to reset the playerbase and turn all the casuals into hardcores who are willing to play 12 hours a day pushing high keys, doing mythic raiding, and getting the highest PvP rating.
They had a formula that worked and a playerbase that was devoted. But it wasn’t enough. They completely messed up things that were working and keep making changes with unanticipated consequences. Because reasons.
They need to revert the loot change they made on week 2 Nathria. It was fine on week one.

Because raiding is the only activity that a large majority of our guild roster can participate in at once.
A lot of the people that Mythic raid don’t raid for loot. They raid for the experience with their guild, the achievements, and the xmog.

Tier Sets /OP trinkets next patch will fix this. As long as the bonuses are good they’ll make raiding more or less mandatory even with stronger M+ gearing.
You get the story once. If the challenge were more personal, that would be interesting but when the whole raid depends on everyone surviving than the challenge is just on one’s patience, not skill. On Normal or LFR if you want. Why endlessly grind the same raid over and over when you have already experienced the story for no benefit? The only reason I raid is because of my guild and I’ve already skipped some raid days because of the pointless grind-to-nowhere
Invalid. So many baddies at 1800-2100 rating In PvP due to how easy it is to get rating from RBGs as opposed to 2s/3.

Valor is capped, and have fun timing +15s without raid gear.
raiders are some of the most egotistical players in the game.

Presumably because you like raiding.

Because raiding is infinitely more entertaining than running M+.

Yeah, it honestly should be restricted to 2’s/3’s. BG’s mess up the intent here. 2100 is probably comparable to early mythic bosses, so some 226 there makes since in an arena context, but that comparison definitely flies out the window with RBGs.
Dont know what to tell you boss. Everyone in my guild did an RBG play through together and all 10 of us didnt lose rating 20 games and got free 1580-1620 by the end. lol.
If they can’t get people to raid without forcing them to do it for loot then there is a bigger problem with raiding than gear.
Yeah its a shame that the people who dont want to do something won’t be forced to do it to make you happy, but they would be better served making raiding fun so people want to do it rather than telling people who prefer m+ “no you can’t have the gear you need to do m+ because then you might not do this other thing you dont care about.”
