It’s probably that they’re not going for the same audience they used to be going for, but they have no idea how to actually appeal to anyone. Art direction has changed a lot. I like the new look myself, but he did lose a lot of innate menace. Looks more like there’s a person behind those eyes now.
Honestly, he looks like hogger junior.
Me when I see old Hogger: “Kill the savage beast!!”
Me when I see new Hogger: “Awe, look at that face! Who’s a good boy? Is Hogger a good boy? Yes he is! Does Hogger want a treat?”
And that there is the problem imo, they’ve taken a mean villain and turned him into a cute puppy.

Bold move to change a character that was a virtual incarnation of a meme in WoW.
Hopefully just a placeholder and he get some more unique visuals.

Nah he too good For Helm Much like Most movies/comic and etc have Protags helmlessness while some faceless helm guy get killed… It weird thing in movies.
They massacred our boy
