Neal Peart passed today due to brain cancer. Took one of the best drummers alive.

Some of the earliest concerts I went to were Rush. Such a tremendous loss.

Don’t mean to revive an old thread, but I didn’t know he passed! 
Not only one of the greatest drummers of all time, but he wrote most of the lyrics to the songs too. The quiet one with the most to say.

I agree the drumming is good, dunno about “best ever”.
Band/lyrics/everything else was woefully bad.
