Just wanted to post and see what folks thought about the DH nerf on here,
obviously as a DH I’m biased but I honestly don’t understand why they cant just make the class more difficult to play instead of destroying it all together.
I genuinely wish blizz would just make the class not face roll and actually make it difficult to play in place of it just being an easy class with no dps output. You can tell they tried to make it a little harder, but its still face roll except now it does no dps.
Do the conduits and legendaries save it? It might get better later in the xpac. That does nothing to help whoever is still playing this gutted class, but there might be a reason to keep going. Maybe.
I have been dying at hunters in 2-3 shoots on pvp lately and doing almost no damage with my DH
I hope it gets saved, I swapped from mage to it on the release day of legion and really enjoy it more than any other class. I really just wish they would make it more difficult so it wasn’t considered a face roll class anymore and it wouldn’t be such a over played class.
I like tanking on DH, but DPS seems very basic.
Yeah I got 2 shot earlier today by a hunter lmao and we thought corruption being gone would save us.
Now i understand why scaling was a thing TBH

I’m sure blizzard will fix us and fury warriors. We’re simple specs, you can just buff numbers and nothing will break. No way we’ll stay top5 worse with enhs and cats
I hope they do something too. It sucks to be god tier one day, then trash tier literally the next day.
We need more race options for demon hunters.

They can be easy and fun at the same time
DH is still better than WW. Now you can feel what it means to be trash tier like WW for years now.
We’re a skeleton of a class designed to be “complete” with a borrowed power system. We feel weak right now because post-squish we are incomplete without the Covenant system and soulbinds/conduits. On top of that, we lack the synergy with mastery that other classes have, even though we’re the only ones who deal chaos damage and it should be stupid simple to make all/most our attacks chaos, and scale them with mastery.
We had too much self sustain and that was deservedly nerfed. But ultimately our toolkit suffers without the requisite power systems that prop it up, and will always suffer until they make us a real class that can stand on its own merit.
Just wait till a ret 1 shots you.
I actually came up against a crazy good warrior today, wasnt expecting it from that class.
Some people need faceroll classes /shrug. I honestly have no problem with it. I don’t see it as taking something from me. I play the class I like whether it works or not. I can usually make any class I pick work well enough.
I think the nerfs were long overdue. Being a no-risk high-reward class being able to do everything super well was pretty nerf worthy.
