That seems logical, except they’ve been weirdly HARDLINE about saying they won’t, and also they’ve been backing out of the workaround that they did for a while by selling minor transmog at microtransaction prices with some extra tenders attached.
I would 110% believe that they’d start selling tenders for cash, it seems geared to do exactly that, except that they’ve been adamant that they won’t.
Personally I think that they should sell tenders for gold. It would be an excellent recurring gold sink that would do a lot to help rebalance the game economy that lacks uses for WoW gold.
I have tons of outfits without gloves, so I’m okay with it.

Can you just make the Wastewander Tacker’s Kit the monthly reward and make this trash tier watch 50 tenders? How does that make sense, making the big monthly reward to earn a wrist transmog that 99% of the player base would never use, or wouldn’t even be able to SEE if they used it?
Quit being predatory, making the worthwhile items ludicrously expensive so you can sell tenders in the shop. This started out as a fun and free addition to the game, and you took it as an opportunity to make an extra $10-$20 a head. It just makes you look pathetic as a company.

I feel you, I’ve been saving all my tenders basically for February stuff since I love Valentine’s Day and of course hearts but I am gonna buy the gold dress and then freeze the scarab mount because it has pink wings and legit I love pink.

That’s fine if you feel that way. But that’s not what you asked about. And people keep making this claim that stuff is more expensive when it isn’t.
Poor diaper Gnomes were a mistake.
They always list stuff that is the monthly reward for that initially. Not sure why.
