As it happens, you aren’t guaranteed an echo chamber on the internet. If you have good ideas, people tend to respond favorably. If you have bad ideas, people respond with disagreement.
We can make a deduction about the quality of your idea based on the reactions.

My man our here claiming that there’s 2400 players in 75% of his 1200 mmr 2v2 games and won’t post evidence let alone proof of a single one.

Id say 2100 players make up about 20% of games 1500+.
What he posted is just some horrifically extreme hyperbole.
I’m guilty of it too. Every time a friend of mine rolls a new character i use this character to get them around 1800 for some quick decent gear. I wouldn’t call it carrying though, as most my friends are very good players just in new toons
