Every time we get a new achievement for mount collection it is a reskin of an existing mount (150 200 250 300 350 400)
If we ever get another achievement for collecting 450+ the mount rewards should feel special.
I know Blizz won’t make a unique mount for the achievement but here is my idea:
Give us a mount model you are yet to release for example if the 500 reward was added in 8.3.5 we could have had one of the moth mounts as a reward.
This allows us mount farmers to feel special for a while with a unique mount and at the release of 9.0 other players can get the recolors.
As it is we would get a different colored moth for 500 but we are mount collectors we already have 2.

Last several have been recolors of tough-to-get models. I personally don’t mind recolors for the collectors achievements, so long as its not something easy to get with the current patch (or if it is, a color that stands out, like the heavenly azure cloud serpent).

It’s unfortunate they use recolors, but maybe they could use some cool ones such as the mists phoenix mounts from mop challenge mode.

Hope we see some achieves in one of the new 9.2 PTR builds.
go back what you missed. do the raid or instances what you need for the mounts. achievements that are required to do them. some may have feat achievements you don’t see before.
