Reward vs Time investment

I’m currently 214ilvl. I play roughly 2 or 3 days for a total of maybe 5 or 6 hours a week. I can very easily get my weeklies done and get at least 4 rewards from the vault at ilvl 220.

If you’re concerned about running with randoms, join a guild. I’m not an official raider or high rank in the guild, but after a couple runs they knew I was solid (and vice versa). Now I can get in 4 +10 keys with little effort.

If you can’t stand to put any effort into joining a guild or at least a few hours a week, then you can’t complain about being a low ilvl. You get rewards for playing the game (that’s kinda how it works).

What exactly is the problem? that you’re not getting appropriate ilvl reward for your time investment?
If that is the case I need to ask: Are you investing your time wisely or are you running around doing nonsense? If you run around doing unrated battlegrounds and random heroics, there is a ceiling for your gear that is different from people who push M+ or do rated pvp or raiding.

I don’t get any rewards besides a vault reward that is a duplicate.

All 9 pieces of gear are duplicates? I doubt it - but if that’s true , it sounds like you need to be doing harder content. If your gear from the great vault is the same ilvl as your current gear, you should be pushing a higher M+ or the next tier of raiding.

Umm you must be a little slow, he’s complaining about time vs reward.
If he’s complaining about not getting upgrades through raids, clearly the vault would fix that.

The vault gives upgrades every week, when you’re low item level, which he is, because he isn’t getting gear, if you read what he said, you would know this.

I only have time to run 1 or 2 mythic + a week and I don’t get drops from them. Then I get duplicates from the one slot from the vault. It’s maddening and just wastes my time.

The vault was a pretty good idea. No complaints about the vault.

The vault is good if you have time to run 10 + dungeons and many raid bosses. For people that dont have that kind of time this reward system sucks.

If you only have time to run two mythic+ a week, then yeah, this isn’t the game for you bud. Sorry to say it, WoW has never been a log on get geared game. Unless you have a guild to carry you to greatness, where you have the luxury of raid logging.

New loot system aside from the great vault is pure AIDS…

So what is the issue with the “time investment” you’re not investing very much time if you’re only doing 1 M+ a week, that’s like what? 30-40 minutes once a week? And again, if you’re getting gear from the vault that’s the same ilvl as what you’re wearing, you should be pushing a higher key.

Also the anima is laughable slow. I still haven’t upgraded my covenant sanctum. 35 anima for killing a raid boss? give me a break

yeah the 35 anima is a slap in the face especially after pushing a high key and you didn’t get loot

I can’t even progress my sanctum a central feature of shadowlands.

I think the key phrase here. If you have little time to play the game, then be prepared to wait to be geared up at the level you prefer. It isn’t a “get geared fast” type of game.

The game will never be perfect and people need to stop expecting it to be. There will always be an aspect(or several) that doesn’t fit ones play or life style.

I love pvp. But I am and will always be a Blood DK so I’ve accepted the fact that ill never progress in the rated system. So I stick to random BG’s and skirmishes. Hell, last night I did skirmishes for the weekly quest and went 11-3 and one lose was because a douche priest that cursed me didn’t move because I queued as a tank. I know my class and am good at it. I’d have gone 3-11 if I had queued as frost or unholy to make others happy since I know f-all about those specs.

But I digress. Either accept the game isn’t perfect and make do, enjoy what you can or don’t play. Its simple really but complaining isn’t going to accomplish anything.

I’d venture to say this is the main issue with people who consistently complain about the vault.

They’re 200 iLvl running M+5’s and 6’s and normal raid, expecting the vault to drop an upgrade. Taking the chances that RNG will upgrade that single 184 pant slot they still need…

I’d bet the vast majority of complaints on the forums are people in this exact situation. Sure, RNG can still screw you over even when you push higher difficulty, but if the vault is giving you non-upgrades week after week, it’s likely time to move into more difficult content.

This game is a marathon, not a sprint.

Also post on your main and I promise you’ll have m+ and raid gear on.

Gear is fine.

I mean in raid for instance, in mythic I have over 10 kills and have yet to see a piece of gear, which goes against 1.5 pieces of gear per 10 kills on average.

Obviously this is just bad luck, but it feels really bad week-in-week-out to get literally nothing from raid itself and have to wait for the Vault, when practically my entire raid group has 2-5 pieces so far from drops themselves.

I think there should be some system to at least guarantee you SOMETHING after 10 kills outside of the Vault, whether it be badges or something else.
