Hi there!
I have been feeling pretty lonely lately and was considering picking up WoW again (played retail from Vanilla-Cata, then again for Legion and BfA. Switched to Classic at launch, stopped for TBC, jumped back in for WOTLK before quitting again. Only Horde) as a way to adventure and meet people who share an interest in building a community of folks to feel connected, that is preferably not super toxic. I come to you all for recommendation as to where I should go.
Ideally I am thinking about Classic Anniversary or MoP servers, but really looking for which has more activity and population. I wasn’t thinking about current Retail or Season of Discovery servers because I’m nervous about the need to pickup the additional complexities that might trip me up.
I have never played on an RP server and thought that an RP server might feel like a better space to really connect with people. PVE or PVP doesn’t bother me, I don’t PVP and actually really enjoy crossing paths with someone from the opposing faction, particularly if they’re friendly.
If MoP is your recommendation, I do have an 80 Undead Mage from my WOTLK time but was hoping to start a new character. For MoP, I’d make a Panderan, class TBD.
If Classic Anniversary, I really like the idea of playing a super friendly Dwarf Priest.
Really looking forward to your response and hope I can connect and play with some cool folks (like you)! ![]()
