Hello everyone. I’m looking to get the newest expansion in a few days and return to the game. Is there anything I should know before I return to Azeroth? I haven’t played since the very tail end of Dragonflight. Looks like I missed an entire expansion eh?
I see that a new one has recently been announced for next year. I’m not looking for anything about the lore or story, just if basic systems have changed or new ones added, like is there another garrison-esque system or did they add/remove stats, lvl squish etc.

Quite a few people say the best way to play WoW is to just start each expansion at the beginning of its final patch. That way, you can do the whole expansion without waiting for things.
Nothing has really changed.
Dragonriding is now called Skyriding.
Story and characters suck, if you care.
Delves are a new system, and generally considered good and useful, if not amazing. A solid addition to the game. Solo or in a party of up to 5. Do them whenever you like. Collect Coffer Keys before entering to get good gear rewards from Bountiful Delves. They also provide a slot in the Great Vault
and check them out on YouTube for any details.
