Im really struggling to find its niche. I use enh for solo questing, ele for molst group content and the occasional Resto.
It seems whatever we do, others do it better, specifically Druids, plus they have other tools we do not. I dont want to play Druid, i dont like their race options or thier visuals on horde, but i almost feel like i have to.
Give me some reason to feel better, please, if there are any

My buddy i play with plays a druid, 2 seems pointless, so i guess ill plug on and keep wondering why im doing it.
I legit dont understand anything they have done to the class in a long time, why so much was taken away or given to others, its frustrating.

Im hoping dragonflight talents will be revealed soon. They just released priest trees and i think df will move shamans into a much better direction
If you look at this game through the lens of my class has to be the best at any particular thing you’ll be constantly searching for the flavor of the month and you’ll never be happy.
Play what you ENJOY. If you cant do that, save yourself the subscription and find something to do that makes you happy.
Typically i agree with this, but as a person not in a larger guild that relies on group finders and such for content, it kind of makes that rough getting declined constantly for other classes.

shamans dont have to be the best, but they have to reconstruct a flavor for the class. right now theres too little to distinguish elemental from any other caster. theres nothing to distinguish enhancement from any other melee.
its supposed to be totems, but our totems are just such a small part of the class design right now. its supposed to be shock spells but those are just meh as well.

More chocks that add utility would be amazing tooo like a lightning shock as a stun?
First, don’t listen to Shay. All they do is whine and get laughed off the class forum every few months. Second, unless you’re pushing 30 keys or mythic raid prog you can play literally any class and spec and succeed.

Shaman bring plenty of tools to any group. I dont know where youre getting your info from but it shouldnt be these forums.
Go check out WoWhead dps rankings. Go look at keys being healed by Resto Shamans. It’s all well above sufficient.

The gentleman above you is also a zero exp player. They claim to be some multi glad on eu with no proof or even a hint at their eu main. I think its brodanyo but that character has never reached glad even tho they swore they did last season
