Returning enhance sham looking for info

Was wondering if you guys could share your builds/ rotation with me. haven’t played retail in a few years (due to enh being my fav and it being garbo since cata imo, although i didnt play previous exp) any help is appreciated.

There are different builds for Mythic+, for Raid Single Target and for Raid Cleave. You’ll honestly end up with about four builds saved that you cycle through.

Mythic+ is running Stormbringer at the moment. You’ll want a Weak Aura to track Tempest, Feral Spirits and Crash Lightning at the minimum. Something that tracks Maelstrom might also be helpful.

You do not have a “rotation”. In fact, Enhancement shaman is one of the most complex of all builds to play. It’s a priority system.

Your highest priority is feral spirit.

  1. You have five generators: Crash Lightning, Fire Nova, Lava Lash, Ice Strike, Stormstrike. They have different priorities depending on whether you’re hitting 1, 3 or 5+ enemies.
  2. You MUST spend your Maelstrom on Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning or Tempest. Again, the priority depends on how many targets you’re hitting.
  3. You have to appropriately “pool” Maelstrom stacks for Tempest. You want to go into each big pull either with a Tempest locked and loaded, or a Tempest you can get really, really soon. Managing Tempest, managing Primordial Wave, using Ascendance appropriately are all super important. Knowing how to spend Maelstrom during Ascendance isn’t super obvious.

So your opener might look like: Flameshock as you’re running in, Fire Nova, Crash Lightning for the buff, Lava Lash to spread Flameshock, Chain Lightning, Fire Nova, 10 maelstrom Tempest, Primordial Wave to spread Lightning Rod (critical)m Chain Lightning (two of them free from Tempest), Summon Feral Spirit, Ascendance

etc etc etc
