Return 10 Man Mythic In Dragonflight

Did I imply it was?

Blizzard is just generally content to let it ride in general. Doesn’t stop people from whining about needing to M+ either.

That was their exact reasoning given when they implemented it as 20 man. That 25s could just shift down. So if it was good enough for them to claim before, they can claim it again for a good change to make the game better.

There is quite a large difference between knocking off 5 and knocking off half your roster. Clearly, as far as we know, Blizzard does not agree it would make the game better as there has been no mention of reactivating 10 man.

because they’re not optimized. when wrath launched, and the achievements to kill faction leaders were being done, raids of 120+ players on one side, and however many players were drawn on frame from opposite faction made for lagfests but server didnt crash.

15 years later it’s not any better. Why?

Classic / SOM doesnt lag with just 40. But far fewer spells and particles.

This is one thing i cannot stand, people that hide their profile can say what they want but problem is? 100% they have 0 clue about the content. I can no longer commit to high level mythic content but i have seen far to many talented players forced to find other guilds because of attendance. 0 reason why this day and age both 10/20 cannot be tuned and exist. I will bet anything that guy never had a CE in his life and if even does mythic its a couple bosses, u either hide your profile to troll or you’re a liar about your progress, one or the other.

Not to mention they literally just started boasting about how they increased their dev team by 100 new devs…

It’s not 100 new devs. It’s 100 new employees.

A bunch of whom will probably get canned as part of consolidation, that’s usually how these things go (accounting, PR, HR, etc. jobs get rolled into the new owner and any redundancy is then removed).

10 man mythic raiding is a bad idea and if people can’t see why is beyond me.

if you do 2/5/3

and let’s say if they released 10m mythic today it would like like.

Tanks (Monk/DK)
DPS (Hunter, DH, Druid, Lock Lock
Healers(Shaman, Priest and a Paladin.

So right there: no feral/guardian, no rogues, no warriors, no ele/enhance, no mages and no ret/prot paladins)

A whole new meta which would happen in DF as well and so forth and create even more people crying they can’t do content cause of their class/spec and limit the recruiting pool

10m Mythic is bad

/the end

Then explain how it thrives in Final Fantasy? 8 man raiding, with 19 classes. Your statement is bad and made in bad faith.

/the end

We can’t return to 10-man mythic because 10-man mythic never existed.

10 man heroic from Cata and MoP ARE Mythic. Blizzard has even said so themselves when they introduced Mythic in WoD. Get a real argument.

Nope. Mythic is a bit harder than old heroic and heroic is a bit harder than old normal.

Fight design is completely different in FFXIV.

Blizzard has gone on record saying that old Heroic is current Mythic. You’re wrong, sorry.

And it’s time for fight re-designs to change with WoW, Mythic 20 is a dying system, it’s time for a revamp to make it enjoyable again.

I’ve done old heroic and current mythic. Mythic is a lot harder. I don’t care what they said.

Blizzard, so far, disagrees.

Correct. The difficulties were renamed a few years ago. This is from Blizzcon:

No question that the game is getting harder over time. But that’s because players are getting better.

Mythic Star Augur’s “matching” mechanic was considered incredibly difficult in Nighthold. The same mechanic is present on Anduin now, though, and not just on Mythic.

That was the worst mistake for the raid structure, Just look at 6.0 the whole structure is 10-25 except for Mythic, it should had been a fixated number or range for the whole structure.
