Difference of opinion I guess. You’ll never agree and that’s okay. I see a lot of people who complain about how spammy WoW combat can be. As well as complaints about how many buttons every class has. What feels good or fine, or “not a problem” to you isn’t going to feel good for other people. I just want more new players in the game rather than continuing to amp up the challenge of the game for the highest tier of player.
The whole 1 button press to DPS thing is fine for disabled players and I don’t have problems with features like that in the game. But I still wish the overcomplexity of classes was looked into regarding exorbitant amounts of button presses, many modifiers, and auras that are so numerous your buffs section looks like a chaotic soup.
I’m not a classic andy by any means. But when you pressed a button back in the day you knew what you were getting out of a spell. If you download “advanced tooltip” addon, you can see just how many modifiers are on every ability these days. It’s too much.
