inb4 ret is bad in raid. i can assure you its really not once you get the lego bandage. its sucks taht it can cleave in a full claeve raid but once it has the lego the amount of boss damage goes t hroguh the roof
i mean even saying this would logically make S2 better? its a cleaving tier in as you said a full cleave raid…add lego on top of that…S3 design is better in M+ worse in pvp and arguably worse in raid (if the sets are equalized).
s2 is only better for pvp, everything else you wrote is just wrong

well I guess we all argued enough about it, S2 is better mechanically for PVP as u guys say, and PVE is better mechanically for PVE. Lets start asking blizzard to put both in, that way they dont even have to balance these correctly, as well use those for different purposes. I have seen mages have simmilar issues too, probably a few more classes. Sets are also done, in the game so it shouldn’t be hard to enable more of them
no reason to take my word for it, just general reading comprehension is enough to know that s3 is better in every pve scenario

no because the cleave of s2 is weaker than the cleave of s3. 20% of a how throw cant compare to expurg exploding everytime it gets hit by judgement. logically 2 charges of how during wings only/fv lucky procs vs 6 second judgements all the time not to men tion dt and dr
if the sets were equalized, (this is why we have sims) s2 is still weaker than s3 and s1. you cant say “s3 is actually weaker in raid” when sim 3 targets exists and ilvl overrides exists
why do you think weve been saying that s2 needs to be buffed by 200% to be close to competitive? and again it cant be straight buffed by 200% all values cause then you run into the issue of the crit bonus damage being absolutely insane with augury
seems to be something you lack, S2 was always better in single target and is only worse than S3 in 5+ targets if they are equal. If blizzard buffs them to all be equal as blizzard has written down that they will (heres where your reading comprehension comes in), than S2 is better for pvp and raid, but worse in M+.
That is not true, sims are out, S3 is double value in PURE single. I do understand ur point in pvp tho
sims mean nothing as they are using old S2 values that have yet to be adjusted as stated by blizzard themselves…
s2 isnt better than single target. not by a long shot. the 2pc alone is stronger than the entire value of s2. again this is why were saying it has to be buffed by200% to be comeptative. the 4pc of s3 also dumpsters s2 in pve

thats a big IF there, a if that alot of people understandably dont believe in give rets entire track record this expansion. if they do, they would for the 181y63863927 time. have to buff the tier by 200% which is something blizzard has never done with any tier set in the history of the game.
them adjusting it in a way that would be enough is just not happening, just what i and most of the other posters here a telling you
you guys are really just proving my point everytime…your not even staying true to your own prefered content with these talking points, because you are all stuck on using old S2 values to argue its worse than S3 when those values DO NOT APPLY, because blizzard has already stated they will be changed. all your arguments for S3>S2 are i dont trust blizzard to do the tuning THEY PUT IN THEIR BLUE POSTING SAYING THAT THEY WILL. thats it. you having no true numbers to come in here and argue with because YOU DO NOT HAVE THE FINISHED VALUES FOR EITHER TIER SET. you have old set values to try and create an argument for a new set, thats why not once has my main argument focused on numbers other than to make you guys see logic, and 100x over i argued the mechanical differences.

them reworking or buffing s2 by hundreds or even thousands of percent is less likely than them just removing the -% modifier for pvp
and i would have ignored your posts about pvp stuff (as they do not matter to me at all) but you kept rambling about s2 being better in all content which is WRONG even if they buff it.
YOU ALSO DO NOT HAVE THE FINISHED VALUES FOR EITHER SET so s3 could be better in the end for your pvp stuff as well, even if the rotation sucks

old values give us a glimpse how much blizzard has to buff the set for it to be competitive. the absolutely do matter because were not huffing that copium that “blizzard is gonna buff it” because they also said “theyre gonna fix any new issues with ret post rework” and we have the same issues since s1. even in pvp they said theyre “balance accordingly” and ret still has issues with s3 in pvp
again this is like the 7th time they posted on ab luepost saying “they will” regarding ret paladins and so far 6 out of 7 times they didnt “buff or fix” anything regarding the specs core issues. so excuse people for being extremely jaded and untrustworthy of blizzards promises when it comes to ret paladins. you as a warrior should also know that for warriors but here you are.
cool, your mechanical differences only work and worth it in pvp. for pve it means nothing. mechanically it sucks for pve and no ammount of tuning will fix that
