Made it 21 years. Got sick 4 years before I was eligible to retire. Stupid cancer. At least I am vested with the company I worked for. But yeah wow is more of hand, eye cordination therapy for me mostly nowadays.

I realized one day why retirees always work on their lawn or have a ton of plants, they just need something to do, it’s incredibly boring not having to work

It’s a pitiful society that leaves folks defining their self worth by a job.

It’s totally different when you have a skill set and you’ve honed those skills to expert levels. Now that’s a healthy way to define yourself.

Just pitiful when your value is tied to what you get paid for.

We just had a retiree quit over the Painsmith fight.

All this talk of Painsmith almost makes me want to raid again … almost

So far I am. Close to 9 years no recurrence. Was a low grade astrocytoma, and was caught early. Although it did leave me with very little sensation on the left side of my body. Pretty much have to play this game with mouse to do everything.
