Can’t argue with you on this, but classic won’t replace retail, at least for me, unless they re-release TBC in the not too distant future. If they do, bye-bye retail until the dev team or whoever is pulling their strings goes away.
Although, I have no intention of purchasing the next expac for retail until pathfinder is implemented in full, and maybe not even then, depending on what I hear about it and if they intend to re-release TBC.
Retail, in its current incarnation, sucks rocks right now and that is a fact that I am keenly aware of, but classic will not kill it, whoever is responsible for all the terrible decisions of last 3 expacs will kill it if they don’t wise up. Truth be told, I had more fun in WoD, after I got flying back, than I did in Legion and BfA combined. And that, dear readers, is a sad statement indeed.

If there is any evidence that proves retail is dying i have yet to see it. honestly i never got the whole retail vs classic. forgive me if i’m hard to understand.

Like i said before one out of every 10 people are from a different server a very lively corpse your reaching here. 9 from thrall out of 10 lol ! Not every server has that problem here u don’t speak for my server. So thats 90% not seeing how it’s all CRZ might be for other servers but not here all that matters to me. Every 3 days being able to do transfers from servers is whats causeing this to retail WoW nothing else i know because i used to do transfers from servers all the time until i landed here for good.
I almost smile seeing bfa empty, i still run islands on 1 character but the ques are double or triple what they were. It should a giant wake up call to decision makers.

Probably because majority hit that 65 in their neck by now and no reason to farm islands for ap, when it’s not needed…Smh

Only islands I have done in a long time are pvp islands for conquest. got to 65 and instantly stopped caring a few weeks ago

This is pretty much it, its a bunch of “New” content for people who have never seen it before, every day I See someone saying " I started playing in wrath, I started playing in cata, I started playing in panda" so for them this is literally 500 hours of a brand new game.

the majority of people in the wow scene are now on vanilla classic, there are still some battle for azeroth people but it is not a very big number.

Classic is just a much better game.
Just can’t wait until they tune the endgame a bit, and maybe add new classic + content.
But retail is just a drag.

I hope they release ahn’qiraj and naxxramas with maybe a +10% health and +10% damage buff considering people are much better at this game these days
Yeah, just give the bosses a ton more HP, being able to kill rag in one phase week one, having no fights over 2 minutes etc just isn’t cutting it.
the raid fights look terribly boring too, ragnaros has like what, two mechanics besides very high tank smack damage every 2 seconds.
yeah mechanics are not going to be the challenge. I would just like to see more gear checks, or longer fights that punish those few mechanics if not done properly.
Disagree atleast for my server it’s still very active.
