Retail is doing fine and has more players then classic wow

the only thing to do in classic is raid once nax is out the only thing is pvp in an old game.

thats the fate of classic wow there will be no fresh start servers.

It’s not a tinfoil hat if it’s true! You get an internet happy meal for the attempt, but I’m keeping the toy until you earn it. :stuck_out_tongue:

(Just like the “new player” servers
it’s just WRONG to bait newblets into dead realms)

Yes sir, that’s it. Even the most dedicated will eventually hit the wall and have an awakening. There is nothing to look forward to in classic once the phases are all released. Players will eventually get tired of having nothing to do and leave.

Here in retail we always have new stuff to do, patches to look forward to, and more expansions to come. Even if we have a lightweight patch or a patch that not everyone enjoys, there is still always something to look forward to in the future. Classic doesn’t have anything to look forward to.

blizzard has to many servers on retail and needs to combine new player and low pop servers to medium honestly.

what private server players dont tell you is they roll on fresh start servers and do it all over again that wont be happening on classic wow.

retail is not good now but the next expansion is around the corner and if its what we think it is it will be way better then bfa and no one will be on classic wow.

the fate of classic wow is to end

I have a few friends who played on private servers for years, they never could setting on one server for a very long time so they always jumped around between different expansion servers, then the “survival” servers, all sorts of stuff. Very few players are going to stick to the same expansion for an insanely long time. The only way I can see players sticking around for a long while in classic is if they join a large WPvP guild since WPvP will actually be meaningful in classic and server communities are a thing. Other than a WPvP guild there is no reason to think one is going to stay for a long time.

That’s because they are all boys.

This person just said
-on a random Thursday at 11:30- maybe you should rerun your test around 5-6PM when a majority of classic players are online, not everybody is able to be free on a Thursday AND at 11am be on WoW some people have things to take care of. although I don’t have proof the majority of the people I personally have come across in classic are defiantly older
and then after that go ahead and run a comparison of the population density. its funny you don’t see too many posts from classic players crying about retail being dead because they are too busy grinding and doing classic things, Im REALLY sorry you have so much free time on your hands, perhaps instead of making ignorant unnecessary posts like this you can find comfort in your CUTE furry yeti transmog costume instead

Why does it matter who plays what? Their supporting the game regardless.

Well I don’t have a quote from a dev stating it but I can use my own two eyes and infer it. You though have nothing to back up your statement.

We know they changed it a few days after classic launch to display current player count online so if they had to change it that should say something to how it did work coming from retail.

Retail is doing fine and retail will grow once the average classic players starts to feel established with their classic accounts.

Once the average player is lvl 60 there is not much to do ATM then grind BiS with 2 very easy PUGable raids which requires logging in for a few hours a week. The leveling grind to 60 is the major hurdle that is keeping players glued to classic ATM.

The Classic community will be mainly Retail players who play both at different times for different reasons.

as you can see it says štoo manyš not that they are nonexistent

And my entire retail server has died since Classic launch, my guild as well. They even had to CRZ Orgrimmar. That’s how desperate the population is. This proves nothing. Show me proof of Classic players returning in “droves”

There have been dead retail servers for years. Which server did you main on for retail?

they are just playing classic because there is nothing to do in retail since 8.2 and 8.2.5 had 30m of content then we got to wait for 8.3 some time in jan/feb.

if anything you can say blizzards lack of content on retail is what killed your giuld they are playing classic to pass the time.

doesn’t really matter. my server was fine before. A lot better in legion and even 5x better in WoD, the supposed dead xpac. Slowly died off in BFA and is now just completely dead.guess this is what happens when you turn the game into a dedicated single player game with opt in pvp on dedicated pve realms. lol
If you like single player games man. Retail is definitely for you.
