Retail Crashing Since Prepatch - Error 132

Hello all!

I have been attempting to login in to retail wow today, and its crashing when loading characters. I have tried the following:

  • Reinstalled game, three times
  • Updated ALL drivers
  • removed firewall/AV software
  • Checked BIOS for Memory OCing and setttings.
  • Performed the Blizz repair tool
  • ran memtest

Nothing seems to be working. Classic WoW loads fine and plays at MAX settings at 300~ FPS. I KNOW my hardware is well above the requirements, so whats up with the patch data? Need help here lol

It looks like the Discord overlay may be causing a problem. Try closing Discord and all other programs temporarily to test WoW by itself.

So, I tried to login again later today and there was a small patch downloading for Retail (2Mb’ish). Not sure if it was the patch update or the disabling of Discord, but the game now works! Thanks again!
