Why did ret need buffs again? ontop of the fact that they are brick walls.

Because ret weak.

HoL was nerfed twice , it wasn’t even written to the update patch log

Im starting to believe this. Hammer of light is doing the same or even worse damage than s1. Couple that with the hp increases and that leaves the spell very underwhelming.

Completely anecdotal but sometimes the gigabuffed hammer of light (dawnx2, offensive trinket, passive trinket, radiant proc, final reckoning) deals less damage than s1 that is just crazy. I feel theres something wrong with ret or its modifiers. Maybe hammer of light is double dipping into its release nerf

ret paladins aren’t really a dps spec in my book, they’re somewhere along the lines of fistweaver and aug voker

so, % bonus to nothing is still nothing

sometimes when I have a ret on me but his partner isn’t, I like to hit them with the /tickle

i havent seen a single ret paladin in any of my lobbys this season. its been all priest, mage, mm hunter

There are zero Ret Paladins in the top 100. The buffs did nothing. Rets still blow.

Saw one, was in a triple caster lobby around 2k.

Guy was bullied like a fat kid at camp.

You complain about a class that hit like a 5 years old kid punching an adult for a tiny buff that does not mean much ? If you cannot kill RET with no sweat as a DH then there is absolutely something wrong with your talent choice.

Ret essentially has 4 health bars in a 1v1.

I can get through like 2 of them pretty easy and if its me with a healer vs a ret with a healer i probably win but they have like 6 defensives to rotate through while i cant self heal.

I’d hope they didn’t hit as hard cause no class with their defensive toolkit ever should hit hard.
