Ret bottom three raid dps Warcraft logs

but look at the dps gap between arcane at 20 (not score) and max vs the ret one. Arcane 105k to 141.5k Ret 106k to 131k. Arcane gains 10k dps more overall based upon skill that’s a 33% increase in dps based on skill over what the dps based on skill ret has.

Whether some people believe the spec needs buffs or not is not really of interrest to me, but the scaling situation actually feels bad - when you play a caster, and get some ilevels and favordable secondaries, you can easily feel it. WoW is an RPG after all, character progression should be felt, not only noticed slightly when looking at damage meters, imo.

With the current gearing system, specs like Ret has of being stronger with lower gear wears off almost immediately, which is not fun at all - i’d rather be weaker for the first 2-3 weeks of a patch, and then feel the strengeth of increased gear for the remainding 5 months of a season.

People have been memeing about Windwalkers for a while, that 2-3 months into a patch they always get a 2-3% aura buff, now ret is in the same situation, unfortunately. Make me 15% weaker in a new season, while being 15% stronger when close to BIS-gear. Or whatever number.
