i posted about this last week and people said its fine
to me the biggest problem is that expurgatation is a weak passive in the 1st place
so the benefit we getnis also neglible
well the paaldin discord better get in gear and pressure the devs to fix it

Ha… well don’t believe them and test it yourself wear your weapon and 4pc only… then replace one of the items with an equivalent one.

Yet more bugs that got through because Blizz doesn’t actually use Beta and the PTR for testing anymore. They are marketing tools now, look at Beta, they invite all the big names in the WoW community to show off everything. As for the PTR for patches etc.. notice how all those same people from the WoW community are the same ones that seem to be on it more and more. My guess is Blizz us doing something to get them to come and promote it. Free marketing, no testing.

Did you look at logs?
I noticed when I would reapply expurgation it won’t add to the dot like it was supposed to. The dot amount just stays the same. I thought it was a tool to error. Could be a really big damage loss if true

Or does the actual damage on the logs isn’t added?
Not only that, but I’m pretty sure that using final verdict resets the timer on the dot, causing it to miss ticks.
Sadly, the blizz in-game damage meter is so pathetic that it doesn’t record expurgation as a separate damage ability, and blends it in with whatever ability applied it.

- I saw and currently see no mention of purgation anywhere in logs
- blade of justice damage doesnt look to be higher than usual—- in AE situations it looks high because of the aggregate multiple hits
what confusing to me is that someone above said that with 3 pieces, the damage is higher?

I put in a ticket about it, explaining the issue with the application of the dot resetting the damage instead of adding to it, decreasing overall damage, and resetting the timer to waste dot ticks. I just got the response:

So, they fully ignored the actual problem, failing to acknowledge it on any level. Instead, they think that somehow, while gearing up and getting tier gear, that I managed to mistake my tier gear from last xpac and equip it instead of the new gear, while the addons that I do not use (none, I’ve only ever used damage meters and those are no longer needed) are causing bugs, and that if the problem continues that I should submit a ticket, which is what this is a response to me actually doing.
I know a lot of people complain about the downgrade of GMs over the years at Blizzard, but this is just over the top bad service.

Exactly a “what?” Addons was always client side, and never touched the servers with the exception of getting data. They would have no impact on gameplay mechanics-wise. If they did, it wasn’t an addon, it would be a hack.

So did blizzard for April fools just post the ret paladins this year? Because if our set is that messed lord have mercy I feel like a fool for rolling paladin as a whole for my main for the first time.
Our dps spec is meh, and bugged?
Healing in higher keys is a struggle
Our tank spec feels like the squishiest of the tanks… definitely sucks healing them in keys.
Maybe I need to think about rerolling to evoker or monk… At least their tank and healing specs are fire for M+ and raids
