Last I saw restoration shaman along with holy paladin received a 20% healing nerf in PVP across the board a bit ago on one of these patches.
After trying some solo shuffle, and doing some 3s, and then playing on my priest and Mistweaver, resto shaman feels infinitely worse than those healers at the moment, I think if that slap in the face of a 20% healing nerf is removed, or lowered, rsham would be in a good place, not the best place, but better than the current iteration.
Also instant hex PvP talent still bugged, been bugged for months, asking for a kind dev to notice us in PvP please
Issue with Resto Shaman in pvp is it’s either giga broken or worst in the food chain. They destroyed the class so bad we rely on Riptide too much, so we either top with Riptide - once we run out of riptides and CDs we are donezo. Link is weak and HST/AScendance sucks.

Bumping up for awareness in this matter, every healer has defensive cooldowns for their team, shamans have nothing now, healing tide is easily killed, grounding totem does to aoe and same with tremor, a 2 second kick at best is what we got now, out kit is so gutted and we do no actual healing compared to other healers
I actually find the healing output for shaman is still really strong in BGs (maybe less so in Arena? I don’t do much arena play). Full mastery build makes your heals go a long way and I rarely have to cast Healing Wave or Chain Heal.
I do think though with the loss of a lot of personal defensives it is a lot squishier to play than it was before prepatch.
I also think that in midnight the second and third points into apex increasing HST by 40% will help balance any weakness being felt right now. I just wish the 6% proc chance in the first point of apex would be increased, that’s just way to low to be useful for PvP where you need more on demand functionality than low RNG.
We have nothing and I don’t think they can save us. What will they do? Buff Riptide for 50% so we can rely on insta casts? Lol
I love this spec and was trying to play it for long time but for me it’s totally unplayable now and I refuse to cause depresion to myself, rather swap to something with more haste and stronger heals.
