Druid is both better and more fun. Disc hasn’t been fun for me since MoP.

Druid has all of these. It’s the reason why they’re pretty much the best m+ healer. They have EVERYTHING.

I’m not sure what your question means? Yes resto druid can be used as a spec that does a lot of damage

And terms of fun I absolutely hate Disc it is no fun for me. Druid is way more fun imo but lots of people love it. I just personally don’t like the way it plays anymore.

I figured they were always more healing and assisting based. Any time we run a group and there’s resto healer, they are… healing. Same with those scenario’s in Pandaria: your objective was to keep the NPC alive via healing. Plus the resto talent available to balance is all healing abilities.

Druid by a mile. In everything. I hate (playing) priests.

Oh yeah they do heal but they’re supposed to do dmg too. Good resto druids will be able to do both efficiently

The answer is always lazers. Resto > Disc.

I’m probably biased but Resto Druid for sure. I used to main Priest, back in BC/Wrath/Cata/Mop but I can’t stand it now. Shadow is a disaster and Disc is only really strong in raid comps and I don’t raid.

M+ Resto Druid takes the cake.

Some tips for rdruid damage - keep up Sunfire 100% of the time,and moonfire as much as you can. Play feral affinity, and basically what you want to do is Sunfire, then go cat and maintain rake and rip as much as possible. Ferocious bite instead of rip if the target is going to die in under 20 seconds. Switch from shred to swipe when there are 2+ targets. Refresh Sunfire at under 3 seconds. Never cast wrath unless you can’t get into melee

Will do, thanks for the advice. I had no idea you could cast sunfire and moonfire – that’s what I currently do in every battle with Balance. Nor did I know you could utilize cat form outside of the Feral spec.

Sounds like it’s worth checking out for sure. I like the Druid, but Balance isn’t that fun. It is strong though – especially with Starsurge & other damage spells.

Yeah resto is a lot of fun, definitely the most versatile of the druid specs. You should be using bear cat and human form constantly :slight_smile:

Starsurge is insta-cast on my character. I thought it was for all Balance players?

The upgraded Moonkin form (Incarnation) is also pretty good.

Priests are in a bad spot at the moment. rdruid has been god tier through all of BfA: better mobility, better utility, better on demand healing.
With priest you have to plan way ahead or you’re gonna lose someone (or waste half your mana keeping him alive), it’s not worth the trouble.
