Reset my 100k gold before TBC? I dont think so

Finding another profession because I don’t really see that as fun and didn’t play the game just to make gold. Won’t lie I ran the Auction House in WotLK but not doing that in TBC and have no desire to do that again, it just isn’t fun.

If they do a gold reset you will buy mats valueable to players starting new characters most likely early classic mats like copper to mithril bars and demon slaying elixirs. Stuff valueable to levelers and still useful in tbc.

That’s fair…LW will be the meta with drums in TBC anyway…so there’s one of your profession slots.

Choose the other one wisely.

I thought your sub ran out and you were leaving? Did you change your mind and renew?

Who cares?

Skinning/Leatherworking

Not one of those Min/Max to no end people, have no intention of changing that unless I hit the Best in Slot gear for the expansion at which point I will go for the ring enchants and then back.

Like being self sufficient which was a good deal why I liked Alchemy back in the day. By the time I stopped, I could make every alchemy recipe, cooking recipe (Including the Alliance only ones as Horde), and even First Aid Recipes in the game. Was the only thing I was getting that wasn’t a one and done thing.

At least with LW the bots and players CANT farm them into oblivion. But I fear for the Elemental Plateau.

Tbh it really doesn’t matter. The people who have 100k gold in classic are gunna be same ones with more gold than know what to do with in BC. Idk why people think starting fresh is more “fair” you’re just delaying the inevitable. That being said everyone can make a lot of easy gold in outland, and you don’t need anywhere near as many consumes and stuff for BC content. So you won’t be forced to buy gold or dedicate your life to getting a flask for the week like you are now

no one need 100k gold Blizz should tax you at a 90% rate and improve the roads in Kalimdor.

or they could cap the gold at 5k, when they do the transfer to thw tbc servers.

So this is basically a thread where a guy is bragging about how much gold he has?

Yeah, and he’s in another thread complaining that he can’t make gold.

Can’t wait for them to remove your gold from TBC.

This game isn’t about you. It’s about everyone who plays it. And your gold serves no purpose but to drastically inflate server economies right at the start of the game. People will claim that in the original transition people could carry over gold. Yes, this is true, but the average gold carried over was between 250-500g. This time around it would easily approach 5000-10,000. Why is this a problem? Well because we’ve seen what it does in retail. New players and people coming back to the game are thrown into a market place that is hostile their presence. Gold Buying becomes the only option.

we are subcontracting the project out to the goblins. Yeah they will charge us a hundred gold for a bag of blacktop but the work will be better.
