I was running SM all day yesterday and today, and mostly looking for DPS. Guess how long it took me to find 3 DPS? Maybe 20 minutes. Yes, 20 minutes, sitting in a party with a healer looking for 3 DPS.
Why? Maybe because my LFG message looks like this:
/4 lf3m dps for SM Cath melee cleave farm (hunter OK)
You know how many mages DMed me? (neither do I, but it was definitely more than 1).
Just because you tried looking in general chat at SM during very non peak hours on a Monday, waiting for a group to randomly be looking for a level 27 hunter for Graveyard, and to everyone’s surprise, you weren’t specifically sought out, doesn’t mean that other people are having a much easier time.
I’ve seen people post things like, “As a Warrior on my server, I’ve get DMed all the time, with people asking me to tank for 100g. Of course, I say no, sorry I’m too busy fighting off all the gorgeous female undead mages to play with you tonight. So sorry.” and we believe them.
Maybe they are telling the truth, or maybe it’s their version of a FB post, trying to make their lives look better.
