Floatsom is easy to find.
These starfish, however?
I can’t seem to find them.
If I do, 80% of them phase out when I get there.
Also, you want TEN OF THEM.

The other problem is that they’re not on personal loot. Yet another broken quest this patch…

there’s plenty of them. Just phasing bug removes them when you get in zone where they spawn the most

nazjatar has got to be one of the worst designed zones they’ve ever done. it seems like every day there’s a new quest that’s more frustrating to complete than the last. They couldnt have done 5 starfish? it had to be 10? ive searched for 2 hours and have 2 starfish.

why is it that all the new content is deliberately frustrating to the point where its unfun? at least mechagon is a okay, but nazjatar is just as bad as argus.

What? None of the quests, daily or otherwise that I’ve done have been frustrating or unfun, save the one today to get starfish.

The zone is fine and there’s plenty to do if you want to farm, same with Mechagon.

Just a FYI: Starfish only seem to spawn in the caves/lowest parts of the zone.

I’d guess the reason people are having trouble finding them is that they’re not shared the way nodes are. When someone loots a starfish node, it despawns, no one else can loot that node. So there’s a tremendous amount of competition for them.

I’ll probably get this done late tonight when there’s much fewer people online.

the 3 rares daily sucks because all the rares die within one minute of spawning so i basically have to camp 3 rare locations.

jumping jellies while i didnt hate but i can see how it can be frustrating. Many people hated it yesterday.

all the requisition quests are pretty terrible and unecessarily cryptic. “kill 15 makura” ok where are the makura? quest doesnt say, no map icon, guess ill just travel around this densley packed zone of mobs, elites, and cliffs for 15 minutes looking for them.

Undoable on my high pop realm unless you have an hour to devote. The people celebrating the rng jellyfish and candy crush WQs would probably call that “a nice change of pace.”

I was able to finish this one on a high pop realm in about 20 mins doing laps around the northwest cave areas.

But after about 2 hours in the zone i’m still 0/3 rares :frowning:

Sites like wowhead and it’s predecessors have existed since vanilla to direct you how to finish quests like this. This is what everyone had to do back in the day before the quests were given to you as easy mode on the map directly. Look up the quest, look at the comments and listen to where people tell you to go for it.

Not a big deal, it’s like you guys forget how to alt tab and google something… heaven forbid you have to leave full screen WoW hahaha :joy:

Modern WoW isnt vanilla. Nothing ruins immersion like having to look up every quest because the game tells you nothing. Surely that’s great quest and zone desgin right?

It’s frustrating don’t get me wrong, and you are right it ruins immersion to a certain degree. It just doesn’t make the quests impossible unless people are to stubborn to do the leg work until they fix it. If they fix it?

Never said it’s impossible. It just isnt worth it. All this work for 50 rep? They’re out of their minds.

Yeah… 25-75 rep is rediculous! It’s nothing but timegating so we are forced to do these quests for a few more weeks.

Even vanilla quests usually pointed you in a vague direction via the text, but we don’t even need to point that out. Your reward for going on the internet and looking up the cryptic, utterly undirected horsecrap is to make a full loop of a labyrinthine and excessively mob-dense zone for about 8 different collectibles that constantly phase out from under you, and your reward for that is all of 50 rep.
