There’s various items in the game that are toys in every sense of the word (hard to get, unique weird effect, cooldown, etc.), except they’re not classified as toys and instead take up precious bag space.
Items that should be converted to toys include:
-Darkmoon Cannon
-Ashen Stone
-Rain Stone
-Sunset Stone
-Falling Flame
To fellow players, if there’s others, please post them and let’s see if Blizz can make this happen for us

I’ll be back after I peruse my bank.

Inky Darkness Potion. It’s boggling that there is not a toy for that yet.
While they’re at it they could also lower the cd on the daylight sand one too. 24 hours is insane. Both night and day should have toys with a 2 hour duration, 10 minute cd. Or no cd.

One change to toys i would welcome gladly.
The ability to sell them… even for one lousy copper.
I dread winterveil presents now.

After peeking through my banks and void storage, here’s what I’ve come up with. A few notes:
- There are likely many things I’m overlooking or otherwise don’t have
- In the case of items listed as “Toy versions of…” I mean permanent versions of consumables that could be obtained by different methods, most likely involving hoarding a substantial amount of said item
MOST FEASIBLE CANDIDATES:
Anti-Doom Broom
Barov Peasant Caller
Cooking School Bell
Corrupted Primal Obelisk (perhaps change it to target nearby critters)
Darkmoon Cannon
Death God Mask
Fetch Ball
Ghostly Explorer’s Skull
Key to Nar’thalas Academy
Mesmerizing Fruit Hat
Obelisk of the Sun (perhaps change it to target nearby critters)
Salt-Hardened Shell (for parity with Hardened Shell)
Secret Fish Goggles
Spike-Toed Booterang (for parity with Hardened Shell)
Starlight Beacon
The Last Relic of Argus
Toy version of Ashen Liniment
Toy version of Evolving Mawshroom
Toy version of Inky Black Potion
Toy version of Path of Cenarius (even if only for people who still have one from the TCG)
Toy version of Path of Flame (also fixed so mounting doesn’t remove the buff)
Toy version of Sunglow
Toy version of Zovaal’s Dark Carafe
Toy versions of the many, many, many Perky Pug costumes added over the years:
(perhaps expand the costumes to work on all dog pets?)
WOULD BE NICE BUT NOT EXPECTED:
Adept’s Guide to Dimensional Rifting
Admiral’s Compass (adjust to share cooldown with Garrison Hearthstone if necessary)
Brazier of Awakening
Dalaran Hearthstone
Fire-Watcher’s Oath
Flight Master’s Whistle
Garrison Hearthstone (would port to where Tanaan drops you if not constructed)
Ivory Talon/Feather
Mardivas’s Universally Lauded Tote
Toy version of Automated Critter Defense Cannon
Toy version of Baby Spice
Toy version of Bloodsail Admiral’s Hat (a variant akin to Don Carlos’ Famous Hat)
Toy version of Elixir of Wandering Spirits
Toy version of Magical Mini-Treat
Toy version of Magical Pet Biscuit
Toy version of Petey
Toy version of Questionable Mawshrooms
Toy version of Sharpened Tuskarr Spear
Toy version of Throwing Sausage (reworked to function like the Foot Ball, Dalaran Disc, etc.)

Really impressive list; thanks for doing all that! Great suggestions.
my bank is full of toy-like items that for inexplicable reasons weren’t actually toys.
please make this change.

I’d also add that we could really use some kind of categorization in the toybox. Differentiate toys for pets from toys that place interactable props from toys that transform you, etc.

Oh, there are many, many things that need to be transmoggable, have restrictions removed, or have Cosmetic versions added. Think that’s better saved for another thread though.

That one, should come first though.

Hearth items (stones, cloaks, wraps, etc…) becoming toys would also free up bag space so that would be nice. : )
I’m of course talking about the Dalaran one as well as the Garrison and guild ones. I already know you can put your standard hearthstone in the bank and use one of the hearth toys for world events or covenants. : )
Edit: Just scrolled up and saw that someone had already mentioned it. An extra hearth stone to SW would be nice too. So 2 SW/ main city hub hearthstones instead of one.
You can actually just destroy it if you like. You can pick up a new one at any innkeeper.
