Representation matters

Yea how exactly would wow make you look transgender? Do you want a sign over your head or something?

Please be specific

What would make your character look transgender in game?

Yeh that would be exactly it. Any trans person in the room (as if they would ever actually ask a trans person) would be saying “excuse me, er… nobody asked for any of this… no, no please we don’t need to see that hide

Now I’m imagining a Male Human Paladin in makeup and a dress…and it is horrifying… :scream: :scream: :scream:

with a pink ashbringer - but it needs to be fluid so the aura would be blue ok?

They’ve had Blood Elves in the game for, like, over a decade.

Yes. Yes it is

Please explain how you would visually express gender fluidity and gender fluid specific customizations.

Be specific, what exactly would we be getting.

You can already go to the barber and change your gender in game now. That’s pretty fluid.

You can swap gender appearances at will now.
What more would you want?

They can alter how NPC address you, for example, male human paladin can be addressed as ‘she’ in the quest box, or maybe other player can look at your pronoun in the inspect window.

Pronoun can also be placed at the bottom of your character name instead of guild, i mean who cares about someone’s guild at this point, might as well use the spot for more productive/self-defining word.

No one is gonna wanna give up their guild title.
That’s not right

I don’t see why a comma pronoun couldn’t be after your name.

However, if that were the case it would get some abuse to some degree.

In other games, there is. Short comment box. Kinda like make your own title. That would work

So who is the main?

Comma pronoun would make it weird, especially if someone use long title on top of that.

Oh look, someone that didn’t get enough attention as a kid.

It’s better than getting rid of your guilds name

I would not like the clan name to be removed, in fact I would like them to display the personalized guild flag in front of the person’s name, as it was at ragnarok online - this would make the clan highly important again.

and in real life … if I see a person with a feminine appearance I would call her - if the person wanted to correct me afterwards, that’s fine. But we are beings that perceive things visually.

Because it’s redundant when your character model already clearly shows male or female. Except blood elves of course!

Posting in a Talonel thread…

A bit late though.

Which is what pronoun is trying to correct in the first place.

That is what confuses me

If you want to play as a transgender female, your toon looks female and your pronouns are female

Why would you need to display it? It is kinda redundant

That’s my whole question. This is a visual medium how do you differentiate female and trans female with customization.

I identify as black Hispanic albino from Antartica with red hair where’s my option toooooo? Lines have to be drawn sorry
