Report all the Arugal players as harassment to the forums

Don’t get me wrong i agree with you about the forum spamming.

But when you let 3000 people sit in a queue everyday… this kind of stuff is likely to boil over (specially when CS replies to our in-game tickets telling us to post on forums).

I mean a stickied blue post where we could all reply would be great. But i don’t see one of those

ya that guy def does his server no favors

Usually when they say something like that it’s not saying “go take this to general discussion” forums. Most likely its towards tech support or CS.

I think its because the de-layering post was made in here. I guess people where hoping blizzard might see it here. as our realm forum has never had a single blue post.

It would be nice if they extended the server cap like they did to the other 3 big realms. Not sure why Arugal was ignored

Woah, look at all these people who wish they were on a realm as significant as Arugal.

Sorry everyone, maybe when you become more important you can have your forum back.

I find OP’s lack of empathy disappointing.

This is not self entitlement.
This is an entire continent of people who are stuck in an awkward and unplayable situation screaming out for help in the only medium available to their voices.
This “not my server, not my problem” mentality is not helping nor is staying silent.

The overall response of “shut up and deal with it” from the rest of the community that I am seeing is truly disheartening.

We will continue to provide data, evidence and reports that the game that we pay to play is completely unplayable until the issue is resolved.

And it is this dissatisfaction with the quality of our experience that you’d expect players across other realms to sympathise with. We all share space on this forum. Ideally we stick to one post, but such is life. We want answers.

Well put Werfy

I check these forums everyday and most of the time nothing of substance is posted. The arugal situation has been one of the most interesting things in a while.

They’re mad and blizzard only responds to outright rebellion. If you’re not from OCE or arugal you should probably pull back your criticism. You don’t share their experiences, time zone or issues so what do you know of it? Stay in your lane.

On behalf of the Oceanic community, thank you for having empathy and common sense on this matter.

The problem is that what they do (which is intentionally asking for a sloution that was not designed to be in the game for longer than a few weeks in the first place and that also is harming what classic should be about as well as a turn of for many players (specially the purists))) they set a precedent for blizzard to fall back to if other servers ever encounter the same overpopulation issue.

It will impact on how they deal with TBC servers as well as fresh classic servers if they ever launch em (hopefully). So its not just an easy case of : Its just arugal. If it were, nobody would mind their outcry (as long as it isnt spammed from north to south on this webpage).

You could argue this was all poor planning on blizzards side on release by only having 1 pvp oceanic server. Not sure why our realm cap wasn’t increased like whitemane etc??? its almost like blizzard doesn’t know things exists outside of america. You would hope we’d get the same amount of attention (specially given our much heavier and stricter consumer laws)

No doubt about it. Im not sayin blizzard did not screw up big time. Im just pointing out layering should not be in the game and players asking for it instead of a better solution is also bad.

I agree with your comment about setting a bad precedent.
However I think (almost) all players can agree a playable game is superior to an unplayable game.

There “HAS” to be a better way to handle this in future such as :

Better provisioned infrastructure, networking optimizations, rate limiting (which they have already done for some mods), auto scaling server capacity based on client demand or simply better estimating and understanding user demand for servers before the game is released.

Unfortunately the only solution presented to us that is known to work at this time is layering.
And for most it’s better than nothing.

I don’t think the removal of layering will enforce its use in future expansions. I am hopeful that by then Blizz will be more prepared to support user demand and have learned from this process.

we need an answer from blizzard not you people who doesnt play arugal

They should pay their staff more so their data is actually correct. The fact you’re providing more useful data then a billion? dollar company is laughable (props to you though).

Awful work conditions and salaries at blizzard / activision. Half of them are more interesting in keeping a roof over their heads / feeding their family then helping kotick buy another yacht

According to the FCC (Forum Code of Conduct) it is though…

Spamming or Trolling

This category includes:

  • Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
  • Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums
  • Causing disturbances in forum threads, such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters
  • Making non-constructive posts
  • Abusing the Reported Post feature by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages
  • Numbering a thread, IBTL, TLDR, or any other fad statements

Why doesn’t blizzard just make a stickied blue post for us all to post in? Until the voice is heard people will continue to scream

because they didnt even replied after 4 days of riot

even trump the dump will be saying something stupid if he cares.

I think you’re miss interpreting that last line. Numbering a thread != posting multiple topics. Also this is all for a SINGLE person. 10 people making 10 different topics != spamming. You could just as much blame blizzard for not giving us a stickied post to reply in
