If you are actually doing this, you are playing very poorly. At this point, Blizzard cannot just get rid of gold. Too many people have paid $20 for a token here or there that would absolutely quit over something like this.
So quite literally turn on snipe thing and basically go semi afk til it tells me to buy
A gold reset is something I really really WANT, but that I know is 100% not feasible. People would quit in droves, and rightfully so. Theyâd be losing who knows how much time and effort (sometimes money, too!) despite doing literally nothing wrong.
As an alternative, I wouldnât mind seeing a couple new realms open up. Mission Tables have all Gold Missions removed (or made account wide) and Gold Emissary Quests are account wide so you canât farm them on your 50 alts.
I would be very interested in seeing how the economy plays out in a world where people havenât hoarded literal millions from the travesty that was WoD and Legion mission tables + continued (but slower) growth from BfA emissaries and such.

That being said. If you want to balance the economy try making the vendors able to sell gear close to level. I mean every new zone has more useless gear vendors just stuck in to buy our vendor trash. Instead of them being garbage disposals make them relevant.
