Ah yeah, that’s right. The particle effects were removed and some of the sets seem to have extra shoulder/helm bits trimmed off.
Been a long time since I’ve actually seen a CM set so some of the details were lost memories.
Still, mostly the same models. Just not as shiny, which should be expected from gear that’s basically just given to you for playing the game.
Can we get a bear form that isn’t Fel Corrupted? Doesn’t really fit my character at all.

The only reason I put up with the horrible garbage that is mythic raiding progression is so I can collect the transmog earlier than people who want to do it an expansion or two later. If I wanted a challenge I’d go play a solo player game. Not trying to say I never make mistakes (I make plenty) but nothing turns me off more than pulling a boss ~400 times waiting for Billy to learn the mechanic that 1 shots the entire raid (or at least not get targeted by it rngesus be praised).

Scarcity is value. No one brags about owning a Hyundai but you do see bragging when a Maserati is owned.
Let’s get into the value of honesty. Blizzard said the rewards are time limited. It doesn’t matter if Blizzard promised that to one customer who no longer plays or every customer (which they did at the time). Honesty still adds value and GOOD ON BLIZZARD for sticking to their word!

I thought they would possibly bring back 1 unique weapon skin for each challenge/class/spec that matched the new Legion themed armor set. Make it so that is the only skin you can earn, that way it distinguishes it from the ones earned when mage tower was first out and gives people a way to earn the weapon mog. Win-win for everyone. Guess wishful thinking.

Ok well … I mean, a fel kitty - that would be my birthday and Christmas all in one - but you know that bear looks pretty sweet, so I’m not complaining. Also the warlock mog looks great, so I’ll have to level my lock for that one.
Just tell me that you understand and sympathize with my frustration, even if the conflict of interest between challenge-seeking trophy hunters and non-challenge-seeking collector-fishermen trying to catch all the fish in the sea is ultimately intractable with no win-win solution?

You should have made a cosmetic item that is the artifact model but a unique color. Giving newer players something, plus offering the people that did the mage tower back in Legion a chance at an additional color.
This is a total flop, other than the druid skin. Congrats at taking a golden opportunity to unite the player base and turning it into an abomination.

I do empathise, especially for druids. As a fellow druid I know it sucks and I feel for you - and honestly, the new bear is great and all, but I think a new cat and new variances of the main weapons should have been done. It’s particularly tough on cats and bears who are in form and have no way to show off their armor in combat - but my answer has always been more please, more cool looks, more opportunities. Lots of creative things they can do here, and I hope they do, for all of us.
What armour are warriors and paladins getting? Also will Legion Timewalking be in regular rotation like the others or will I need to no life this sucker?
It will be up for 2 full weeks when Legion TW is launched, and after that, will go into regular rotation with the other TW events - so you can still have a life!

So, let me see if this is your stance: You agree with the frustration of removing rewards arbitrarily and without reason.
So you decided, instead of putting in a Feat of Strength, the actual type of achievement that is used to reward a certain event happening during the time period in which it is new and most challenging, you would arbitrarily remove rewards?
Will Sanctum of Domination be removed when 9.2 comes out, along with all versions of the armor? Otherwise, the rewards will be diminished, after all. 9.0 Covenant rewards too? Why not remove everything that isn’t cutting edge content, otherwise it would diminish the rewards?
For years, people have complained that one of the most enjoyable solo activities, and some of the most interesting weapon rewards, were arbitrarily deleted and made unavailable. It isn’t just druids, many people want non-druid rewards. This timewalking event actually could be cool, but legacy awards need to be available for legacy content. Give out a feat of strength if the dated achievements are not enough in your eyes, but these appearances belong in the game, just like every legacy dungeon and raid drop that exists.
This would have been the best way to do things.
