FFS… People who have wanted the MT weapon appearances back have said over and over and over again that we are more than happy to complete the MT as a CHALLENGING piece of content. We’re not asking for a “participation trophy”. I wish you people would stop lying about this.

It’s not really that hard. I was a total noob who didn’t even know what an interrupt was before I did it, and yet I was able to beat it. So anyone can do it with a little perseverance.

Thanks-- I can understand the frustration too, and I really think this wouldn’t be such a touchy subject if we hadn’t just suffered through two expansions with no class sets and a frankly ridiculous amount of recolors with Shadowlands being the worse offender.
Most of the epic weapons in Shadowlands look like blue-quality designs at best, the blues like greens, etc. People are hungry for cool mogs and got their hopes up with the MT datamine.

Well firstly, they nerfed the artifact weapon - so they would have to un-nerf it now. Secondly, you would have people complaining about having to get the artifact weapon AND legion legendaries AND the crystal currency plus they would have to make sure all the talents and whatnot were the same and that is far more effort than old content deserves so not going to happen.
I actually am not sure your point after reading your post for a second and third time - what 1% that don’t even play the game are they giving something to?

Sorry, pal. Blizzard has done a lot of dumb things and made bad decisions but when they don’t cater to little whiny babies they deserve kudos. People that worked hard back in legion to get all the appearances whether or not you considered them “challenging” it was a huge time commitment. We had to level gear and farm shards. It may not have been the hardest thing ever near the end, but we all put in time and a lot of it because we were told it would be removed. We had a deadline and had to play a lot to gear and get shards and learn the class to a certain level. Saying the appearances would be back and always available during timewalking to those of us that put the time in back in legion would be a real spit in the face even if we are in the minority. It also seems we are in the minority, so they also deserve credit for sticking to their word despite upsetting so many whiny babies that are mad that someone has something they don’t. They will probably upset more people than make happy, but they are keeping their word and valuing the time those of us who did the content back in legion put in.
I don’t brown nose blizzard. I am just commending them when they keep their word so they do it more often. I would also like them to keep their word and make mythic plus a true pillar of end game along with raiding and pvp as they said was the goal at the start of shadowlands. The new domination system is working against that, and I was vocal about how I felt about that.
I personally wish every expansion had some time limited content to work for that you could only earn while the expansion was live. Give people something to work for that will retain its specialness and value past one expansion. I love when I see challenge mode sets that I wasn’t around for(now seen super rarely) I go aww man that’s awesome! I don’t immediately start posting about how its against our human rights that we can get it and mean old blizzard took it out of the game.
Yeah your right buddy, lets just give everyone everything so nothing matters.

Blizzard not being intimidated by the opinions of players is how we ended up with conduit energy and all the other absurd issues shadowlands has so I’ll take it as a compliment.

eh. would have greatly preferred the recolored weapon skins myself, most of those were unique and really cool looking. personally i think there’s plenty of nice looking gear sets to choose from in the game and far fewer cool weapon skins. and the recolors on most of these sets are hit or miss imo

These colors will never comeback, they are still unique for the achievement of its time.
Except if i got it wrong for the druid, the recolor will never unlock these originals colors.
The recolor is a different reward for a different achievement that you have yet to claim, here a timawalking mage tower.
So how it ruins your achievement in Legion as none of the items from this time will come back?
It’s like claiming that the KSM mount for the season 2 shouldn’t exist because it’s a recolor of the previous one. the season one mount will never come back.
Bye the way, i obtained nearly everything i wanted back then so in my case i would like to have an additionnal color for what i already have, not really to gain one that i don’t have.

I worked hard to get flying in Legion and WoD. Should I start demanding Blizz removes flying from players without Pathfinder?

It’s actually still the exact same time commitment to get all of the appearances, none of them have gone onto a vendor, you still need all the same achieves.
The elite pvp sets legit are not available after the season… or the mounts… or the titles…

Yeah… Blizzard’s art department having clearly been shuffled away from WoW after the launch of Legion is probably the bigger problem.
There’s hardly been anything cool to work towards since BFA launched.

I don’t have an opinion either way yet on the Tier 20 recolors, since I’ve liked some of T20 and not liked others anyways.
And, I would have liked another chance at the mage tower appearances that I did not get the first time around, but if I never had another chance to get them, I wouldn’t have cared either way, since I did get the ones I wanted the most.
However…why do druids get more art team talent time dedicated to them in this instance than any of the other classes? I love playing druids, and I definitely think that more form appearances is great…but why do guardian druids have to get more with this than all of the other classes or even other druid specs?..

Well I hope I can answer you completely, but I fully support recolours. I do. Why not? Just keep the originals intact and personally, in this situation, I think (maybe some will disagree) that all the original looks should have returned as a reward, but recoloured. So, a fel bear is great, but also a fel cat, and a fel set of flails etc. I think that would have been the best way and makes the most sense.
But for the original looks, I’d like the commitment to having them locked be honored.

The old content should be available to all the players. Who cares about what the developers and players think. No content should ever be removed.
